Superb

The breakfast was lovely, it was served in the living room therefore we had beautiful views. Annie made sure we had everything we desired.

Location was a little confusing. Le Verger (Le Plessis). There are quite a few Colombiers also Colombiers du Plessis. We found it in the end so guests should be careful when using satnav.

FIRST CLASS

Our host was kindness itself, the accommodation was first class. The attention to detail was obvious. It was a solid home that wrapped its calming self around weary travellers, the peace was wonderful. Good area for walking before bed. The breakfast enticed us to eat it all, a thing not normally done! 'Mo-Ay'(?) the Dalmation dog was friendly too. Will hopefully be going back again.

Our English sat-nav had a little difficulty finding the place, when asked, kind villagers stepped in to direct us.

Proper rural retreat

The room was full of character but had good facilities. The shower room was large and everything worked well. It was really quite and very dark. The owls were abundant and I’m sure they had a million more stars in the sky than anywhere else.

The only downside was trying to find it. Neither sat nav could find this tiny hamlet. Eventually some kind locals took us there. We think we could find it next time as we’d like to go back.
