Exceptional stay and more than it's worth.

The host and his family is super friendly and his invited me to his birthday party.

The shower could be better as well as the control to the tv at the living room. The owner told me his will change it by december so it's okay.

We met "Señito Lore" a lovely lady working right in front of the school nearby, by the church, she fed us some delicious Mexican food

They were doing some remodeling so it was all dusty, some of the plugs had no cover and the kitchen sink had no tube so we could not use it, but there was no kitchen so we could not cook either, they had a microwave oven though

Sketchy location. Renter was 2hrs late. Dirty. Always Noisy.

Nothing. And really, I have left so many positive reviews about places. Just not this one.

There was no one available for check-in. We waited for more than 2 hours outside on the curb. That was our first mistake. When the owner arrived, the apartment still hadn’t been cleaned. So we stood inside the apartment for an additional hour while 3 adults frantically cleaned and removed items left by the prior tenant. Finally they left and the noise started. The neighbours blasting their stereo in the apartment below still didn’t drown out the construction noise from the adjoining apartment. That would have been nice, but unfortunately the heavy metal music continued to play throughout the night. To be honest, we attended there only 2 days and abandoned the place. Please note that your payment is non-refundable. So... once you have paid, stuck. Or just don’t pay. It’s quite possible that you’d be better-off donating your money to a good cause and sleeping in a nearby park... at least then you wouldn’t be enabling these dishonest renters. Please, don’t waste your money. And no, I don’t have a personal vendetta. Im really not even angry about it because I have had so many amazing experiences through booking.com. I’m only trying to save others from this mistake.

Señor Jorge was the best host we’ve ever had! He made us feel like family. He was always so helpful and kept the place clean and well stocked with fresh water, toilet paper, and towels. It was nice to have a yard with a small garden out front! The other people in the building were very friendly and offered help when we needed it. Everyone advised us on which areas to avoid. I liked being able to cook my own food. We really liked that there was a washing machine available. The people in the neighborhood were mostly quite nice and welcoming. I loved walking around the neighborhood and purchasing freshly squeezed fruit drinks and hot churros. My brother and my fiancé enjoyed walking around the corner to the bakery to get fresh, hot bread every morning. There’s a small park a short walk away. My fiancé liked working out at the outside gym across the street. The general area was pretty laid back and easy going, and we felt safe walking at night. It was easy to find a bus to the city. I liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

The WiFi connection was spotty and slow from the 2nd floor. It was much better on the 1st floor.

El departamento no queda para nada céntrico, con el tráfico de México se tarda 1.5 horas en llegar al Ángel de la Independencia o Centro Histórico que es de donde salen los tours. Demasiada bulla que no permite dormir, a eso le sumamos las camas y almohadas poco cómodas. Nos tocó quedarnos en el apartamento de la primera planta y todo se iluminaba cuando alguien entraba o salía de la propiedad ya que las cortinas eran claras, debería tener cortinas oscuras. Los enchufes no están en buen estado, si conectas el cargador se te cae. Las instrucciones no fueron claras, la primera noche tuvimos que bañarnos con agua fría ya que la ducha nunca funcionó y fue porque no nos indicaron bien como utilizarla. Si se sabe que es un país donde el agua no es potable, mínimo el anfitrión debería dejar unas cuantas botellas de agua como cortesía porque el barrio no se ve muy seguro como para salir a comprar si llegas de noche por ejemplo
