Elixir Hills Suites Resort and Spa

Our room was large, clean and very comfortable, looking out over the forest and we were able to watch birds and giant squirrels from our balcony. The hotel pool looked lovely though we didn’t go in as we visited during the cool season. There is a short walk through the forest to a beautiful private waterfall. The restaurant provided a very varied and tasty buffet at breakfast (include dosa station and eggs cooked to our liking) and dinner. The restaurant staff were excellent-very helpful and attentive.

The hotel needs a bit of care and attention to maintain it and there were some parts of the grounds where a lot of trash has built up.

Helpful staff especially the front desk.

There was a sanitation issue in the Jacuzzi in our room. The front desk immediately agreed to move us to a different room. What I found concerning was the inconsistency in the amenities across similar category of rooms such as one room has a mini refrigerator while the other does not in the same category. there is some green algae, forming around the window. It should be maintained.

Swimming pool filled with dead insects and leaves.While swimming near the central tree, An insect fall from tree and bite on my finger which causes pain and swelling on my hand. I informed the reception and provided sanitizer. Then I applied the natural remedies for insect bite like mixture of turmeric powder,salt and coconut oil. I slept the whole night with shower cap on my hand to protect the white bedcover.All the above made my stay inconvenient.
