Martinique Nice apartment

The host was extremely helpful and accommodating, which made the stay very easy and enjoyable. The apartment is in a great location. It is less than a five-minute walk from the river and very close to both Chartrons and Place Paul Doumer tram stops, giving excellent and easy access to Hôtel de Ville and central Bordeaux. There is also a Carrefour literally across the road, which was incredibly convenient. The apartment itself has a large and comfortable living area and a good-sized, fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a stay. There is a separate toilet just off the living area, with the bathroom next to the bedroom containing a bath with shower over it and a separate sink area. Overall, the apartment is spacious, well equipped and very conveniently located for exploring Bordeaux by tram or on foot.

Small point to be aware of The only thing I personally found slightly inconvenient was that the separate toilet does not have its own hand-washing sink. To wash my hands, I needed to walk through the kitchen and bedroom to the adjacent bathroom, where the sink is located. There is, of course, a kitchen sink much closer to the toilet, but I personally preferred not to use the kitchen sink for washing my hands after using the toilet. I noticed a similar arrangement in other properties I stayed in during my trip, so this may simply be a common layout in France/the area rather than something specific to this apartment. It certainly wouldn’t stop me staying here again, but I thought it was worth mentioning for other guests who, like me, prefer a hand-washing sink close to the toilet.
