good location on hill side next to owners, with a small horse and a donkey for neighbours, 15 minute drive from the commune of Villefranche-de-Rouergue on the Aveyron river.

Beautiful peaceful cottage in the hills above Villefranche de Rouergue

The gite is very cute and cosy, set in a lovely private garden up in the hills above Villefranche de Rouergue. It also has airconditioning and that was very welcome as I was there during the hottest June temperatures France has ever recorded. The owners are really helpful but not at all intrusive and their donkeys, in a paddock just below the gite, were considerate too! They only brayed when they saw someone approaching with food so didn't disturb me at all.

The only thing less than perfect was the internet connection which was sometimes down for several hours. It wasn't a big problem for me because I had no urgent emails to send and didn't want to stream anything.

Logement très calme avec une belle vue depuis la terrasse qui comporte une table et des chaises. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et aidants. Le logements est décoré avec goût et plaisant. Joli petit jardin fleuri avec salon de jardin. Nous avons profité des figues fraîches cueillies à même l'arbre. A recommander pour deux personnes maximum.

Un très bon séjour a la Belle Poule

Le gîte est très cosy, super terrasse avec une super vue, petit jardin avec transats. Les hôtes sont tres accueillants. Un grand MERCi à Jean-Michel pour la visite des ruches que nous avons adorée. Que serait la Belle Poule sans Hip Hop,la jolie ânesse et Tibur le shetland qui ajoutent un charme au site! Nous recommandons ce gîte

La casa es muy confortable, tiene de todo, el entorno es una maravilla y la ubicación es ideal, y luego la amabilidad y hospitalidad de Claudie y Jean Michel, que nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Totalmente recomendable, esperamos volver en un futuro.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans le gîte de La Belle Poule.

Très joli gîte, parfaitement propre, avec un beau panorama et au grand calme. Bien équipé pour un séjour à deux. Les atouts ont été pour nous les animaux acceptés et la cheminée devant laquelle nous avons passé un super réveillon de premier de l'an. Les propriétaires se sont montrés réactifs et toute la documentation touristique nécessaire était fournie.

Le lit est un peu mou.
