The size of the villa meant that we all had our own space and we weren't on top of each other. Having 2 kitchens to use gave us 2 fridges and more crockery etc. There is plenty of inside space to sit together, although we all stayed outside morning, noon and night. There was more than enough room outside to all sit together for meals and a drink with lots of lighting etc for nighttime.
The villa is on a main road in the middle of 2 supermarkets which are only a short walk.
The pool was lovely and was used by everyobody, young and old.
There is a small gate at the back of the pool giving access directly to the road which was good for us as the main gate was up on the top level so saved my parents walking up and down steps every time we went in and out.
When staying at other properties we have had an information folder with everything from instructions to use the electric gates to takeaway menus and taxi numbers. We could not find anything like this at the villa and this would have been useful when trying to organise taxis etc. I did call the Plusholidays office asking if they could assist in booking a taxi for us on the day of departure as we were struggling with the number we had, but they would ot help, which was disappointing considering the amount we had paid to book the villa. The taxi company themselves were very hit and miss, sometimes we got a car, sometimes we had to walk because they just repeatedly put the phone down on us.
Again at other properties, we have had small pull along trollies for shopping, but could find nothing like this. It would have been handy for carrying the heavy bottles of water, and beer of course!
The villa is on a main road which is busy and quite noisy. It didn't affect us much at night, but there was constant traffic noise whilst sitting by the pool or outside during the day.
A later check out than 10am would have been better, but as we were given our keys before the official 5pm time, we understood that we couldn't have it both ways.
Having to take your own rubbish to the public bins is accepted, but the bins were virtually as far as the supermarkets and it isn't very nice having to walk down a busy road with bags of rubbish in the scortching heat. Bearing in mind the villa is for 12 people, there were multiple trips to be made, so a bin closer to the property would be much better.
