Cavour Rooms

The location is perfect. The rooms are very simple. Very. It's not a place to enjoy the accommodation, only to enjoy the great location. The room had some bad odor because of the sewerage that was really bad. This place has 4 rooms & we used all of them so the complex was just for us (6 family members). You need to climb the stairs to the rooms (no elevator) but it's not too hard to do. We thank Carlo the owner that made our time in Ortigia a memorized time. We loved Ortigia so much.

Very central location, very clean, great bed, surprisingly quiet.

Moving the luggage from the parking garage and into the 2nd floor was effort, but known before and ok.

It was great place for a few nights that is for sure. The host is helpful and is a funny guy. The building is safe, and it is close to everything there is to see. The food market is awesome, and the walk to the train station is about 20 minutes.

The rooms were great, comfortable, in a great location. Appartment is located 2min away from the most beautiful street of Siracusa/Ortigia, Cavour. Coffee was great. Bathroom was very clean. But the star was Carlo, the sweetest guy who manages the place or maybe owns. He came and explained us evwrything in all details while checkin in. Helped us with our heavy luggage to take up the stairs and it was not enough, he came out of his way and leaving his kids/job behind came by car to pick ua up to take to train station because my mom's leg started to have bad issues. There were demonstrations in the street but that did not stop him, he changed the road and came after us and we made it on time. He refused taking money for transporting us. We were very touched and highly recommend renting with Carlo as he manages many places along the city. Thank you Carlo, you are the best!
