Extraordinary little gem hidden in a small, tranquil forest!! Spectacular views of nature, peaceful, local breakfast delights and an extremely helpful and attentive staff, always on call and always with a huge smile!!
Really enjoyed our stay, and the room gave out something unique, including the outdoor shower with the koi pond.
Quite close to Ubud center, which makes it very convenient to drop off a bit "outside" the main street, necessary for the heavy traffic that torments tourists..
Although in a great location, it feels that the property is still in the middle of a (long overdue) renovation. The room itself was very big, with an additional room/boudoir, and a ridiculously large bathroom; the aesthetic and general décor were "interesting", though felt a bit dated and had the respective odor of old furniture.
Also, expect to see some bugs/small animals around, which of course is perfectly normal considering you're practically in a jungle.

A beautiful place to relax.
We enjoy the quietness and the sound of water.
Swimming pool is lovely.
Nothing.
May be more choice on breakfast

The grounds are quiet, from far looks very grand and inviting
On close inspection everything in the room was very tired , especially the toilet. The furniture in toilet were very old and dirty, water pressure from sink was as good as a trickle. Certainly was very spacious for the price but definitely was expecting better based on the photos I had seen when booking the place

We stayed for 10 nights with our 2-year-old and it was truly the best experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available. They went out of their way to engage and spend time with our son—feeding fish and ducks with him, which made his stay extra special. Our room was immaculate, cleaned multiple times a day, and the fridge was restocked daily with complimentary drinks. On evenings when we ordered food in, the staff graciously received it and served it on proper plates for us. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a choice between Indonesian, Continental, and American options. The pool was large, clean, and perfect for a refreshing dip. We also enjoyed the on-site photo session and relaxing massages. The complimentary shuttle to Ubud was a fantastic perk, and we booked a couple of day trips to explore and enjoy Bali. With only four rooms (which are all very large and nicely decorated) on a vast, nature-surrounded property, it felt like a quiet, luxurious oasis right in the heart of Ubud. We couldn’t have asked for more. We had an amazing stay!
Nothing.

All Amazing

Dua Dari has elevated my expectations towards my future vacations, it was definitely one of the best and most special places I have ever visited. Huge and super well maintained territory drowning in lush green jungle, providing an escape from all hustle and bustle of Ubud. There you can really feel what real tranquility is. I also enjoyed a lot all the art objects in the property, from paintings to statues and woodworks, all looks amazing! The rooms are also huge and you get a lot of space. We had a massive living room + bedroom, big storage room, massive bathroom with shower outside. In the shower area you even have a little pond with goldfish swimming in there.
And the highlight of our stay was people that work in this property, they really made us feel like home away from home providing top-notch service. Special thanks to Supri for all the help provided to us!
Nothing, I liked every second I stayed in this place and will definitely come back.

In the middle of Ubud, yet a quite retreat in a beautiful location. It felt like a private residence! With private staff! Rooms were perfect, facility super enjoyable and the service and staff simply lovable
Nothing absolutely to complain about

Staff is extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. They offered us a complimentary treat for breakfast to celebrate my husband's birthday, which was lovely!!
I love it all! Dua Dari is sort of a hidden jewel near Ubud. It would have been great if they had a room allocated and consciously prepared for spa treatments.

The location is not far from the city center by Grab but Ubud Central is super jammed therefore it took us a little longer time to the city. The local breakfast was quite good but the continental breakfast was just ok. They should improve in the quality of the continental breakfast.
The American/continental breakfast could be better as the room rates are expensive ( 5 star ).

What a special stay at Dua Dari! Wish we could have stayed longer. The grounds are stunning, room was huge and beautifully designed and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. We will be back! Terima kasih to the entire Dua Dari team.

Dua Dari means "two angels" in Indonesian; the owners has 2 daughters and it was their private family home until very recently. HUGE property on a 2.5 acres land with their own swimming pool, lily pond, private lake, waterfall/creek, in a private forrest setting. There are only 4 rental units in the property, it's drastically different from any other hotels with many rooms nearby - Dua Dari felt so private and exclusive. Included excellent breakfast and afternoon tea, and shuttles to Ubud town is about 10 mins ride. While we loved everything here, I highly recommend the unit that used to be owners unit; there's a king bed there, excellent art collection, the view ... oh my just breathtaking. The guest house across the lake is tiny bit cheater, the bed there is at least 20 feet wide - way too big for my husband and I; but if you have a big family, the bed can accommodate everyone... lol. Of all the places we stayed in Indonesia (we stayed at all sort of places, some are way more expensive) we loved this the most.
Pillows were too thick/tall; i had sore neck for a few days

A wonderful breakfast in the most gorgeous location. Each room feels like a home, not a hotel. Wonderfully welcoming staff.
Given there is no restaurant on site, or minimarts within walking distance, it would be nice to have a few little Balinese snacks in the room for purchase, along with the drinks already provided in the minbar.

We absolutely adored this place and cannot wait to get back some day! So much care and consideration has gone into every part of the place. The garden is just magnificent. It is a little Shangri La. The staff are beyond lovely also. Thank you all at Dua Dari for a wonderful stay!!!
Nothing. Best place I've ever stayed!

The privacy was unique for the location. The pool was beautiful and gardens breathtaking! The staff was super nice! Free taxi service during the day to Ubud, still very close to Ubud, but not possible to walk there. Beautiful architecture. And the daily flower decoration of the whole place from the staff was a nice touch. Afternoon tea time was great as well! The biggest bed ever was amazing.
Only 4 sunbeds around the pool for 8 guests. The room facilities aged and outdated for 5* accommodation. It is understandable they try to keep the place as it used to be, but some equipment could be modernized (bathroom was really outdated for instance). Better english of some staff would be appreciated, it was sometimes difficult to talk with the staff, but it was ok.

The property is in an unbelievably beautiful setting. The grounds are really special. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful.
This property has so much potential and with a couple of tweeks, could be a great place to stay. Firstly, there were two friendly butlers on hand but they didn't seem to do much and weren't that helpful so I'm not sure why they were there. We asked for a taxi to town, only for them to say the charge was 10,000 RPH when the charge was actually 50,000 RPH in a Grab. I'm not sure if this was price gouging but it left a bad taste, particularly given it was less than 2km into town. The lack of food and beverage service also really wore on us given the taxi costs and length of waiting time to get anywhere. We couldn't actually spend time at the property for lack of food and drink service. The rooms were also very tired (unrenovated for 30 years or so), and I would expect much more for the price we paid. There was no living area as advertised, which was the whole reason we booked this property with our young son. It is shared with the room next door but we were told that we couldn't use it because the other room had 4 guests! We also had issues at check out which were really annoying for lack of organisation and it kind of ruined our last day of holiday. All in all, a bit of professionalism and polish could make this place great. A lovely location, lovely staff, but could be so much better.

Dua Dari is beyond special. The property is one of the most stunning places I've ever stayed at with every detail being designed, created and maintained to the highest standard. Every room in the property is really beautiful with fantastic design and amazing art work. The room feels like an entire house with so many cool features like my own Koi pond to feed the fish. The surroundings are amazing as you are simply in the rain forest with a running river and waterfall on the property.
Best of all is the staff, they are all very attentive and always greeting you with a big smile and no task is impossible. One night we ordered food via grab food and expected them to just hand over the delivery. But they plated it all up and made it look amazing. Another day we were walking around the grounds and the team met us with umbrellas and escorted us around. For my wife's birthday they delivered an amazing cake and had 4 staff greet her with happy birthday. It's these kinds of details that makes this place extra special.
Additionally they are linked to another 5 star hotel called Tannah Gaja (sorry for misspelling maybe) and you have free shuttle to go use their spa and facilities. The free shuttle also takes you into town whenever you like up until 6pm.
I will be coming back as this is one of the most amazing hotels I've ever been to and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you to all the staff who showed us around Ubud, drove us to places and looked after us, you are the best!
Nothing can be improved, this is the best hotel in Bali

The property, once a private estate by a famous Indonesian architect, hidden in a valley, with well-kept grounds, waterfalls, river sounds, lush foliage, a pool and lovely and personal artwork and statues. You can feel that the owners heart and soul are in this place. This is not your average villa or hotel. You don't want to leave this place, it's incredibly special. I know because I lived in Ubud for 10 years, and know all the hotels and places. This is a gem and the perfect private Ubud stay and experience.
all was great

Property is a hidden gem 5mins away from Ubud center.
There is only 2 villas each split in 2 bedrooms in a luxurious jungle. The decoration by Hadiprana is very beautiful as well.
The staff was taking great care of us as well, and arranged everything we needed.
We highly recommend the place and will certainly come back !
