料金がお手頃で温泉もよかった 朝食も美味しかった

4月にもこちらのホテルに宿泊していますが、今回の部屋は洗面化粧台とトイレが別になっていたし広いので、こちらの部屋を選びました。トイレとシャワールームは一緒になっていますが、すごく広くて良かったです。

入った瞬間、禁煙ルームのはずなのに、すごいタバコ臭かったのが残念だったのと、じゅうたんが古くて汚く感じました。部屋にも、せっかくドレッサーがあるのに電気がなく暗かった。電気スタンドを置いてほしいです。 あと、男湯の方のウォーターサーバーが壊れてるのか、ぬるい水しか出なかったみたいなので確認した方が良いと思います。

The shuttle bus from Sapporo was really handy and very cheap. It dropped you right to the front of the hotel and we were instantly greeted by staff. Check in was smooth. The traditional room was nice and staff came to set up the futon beds whilst we were out. The men's onsen was nice. I can't speak for the women's as I have tattoos. Breakfast was good and lots of variety. Location was good, walking distance to the sights and good links with the local buses.

Unfortunately there are quite a few downsides for us. I was unable to make use of the onsen due to having tattoos. This wasn't stated on their website so it makes the cost of the hotel quite expensive if you're unable to use the onsen. Luckily my husband could make use. A big downer at the end of our stay was when checking out. We were given a paper of what was left to pay. We were expecting the cost of the shuttle bus but there was an additional ¥2200 to pay. This was due to onsen tax and accommodation tax. Neither of these were stated before booking, checking in or anywhere on their website that I could see. We were also checking out early due to the early bus time to the airport. However, they don't allow payments until 7am? They said we could pay with cash but due to these additional costs my husband had to run to the nearby 7-eleven to get out more cash to cover it. This caused the two staff members stood there to laugh at us for not having enough cash. This was really upsetting and unsettling. I don't mind paying accommodation tax, I just wish this was told to us in advance so we could be prepared. However, ¥600 a day for onsen tax is a lot of money when I'm not even allowed to use the facilities based on assumptions. Hopefully writing this will help other people be prepared for these additional costs if they choose to stay here.
