The Old Post Office

Good choice of cooked breakfast options, cereal choice limited. Good location for what I needed, i.e. reasonably close to both Beamish museum and Durham cathedral.

keith was a superb host and runs a great B & B, if it was a hotel it would be 5* Our room was at the rear so very quiet, fresh milk, both robes, torch, phone charger, 2 comfy armchairs, parking outside the door. great breakfast with local produce and eggs from his own hens. Park & Ride into Durham just down the road, several eating places in the village.

Absolutely stunning in everyway, amazing room with every comfort including Helens' home made biscuits. Keith and Pauline were lovely hosts and Keiths breakfast best ever having eggs from the chickens in the beautiful garden, all local produce including homemade bread and local homemade marmalade. We don't normally spend much time in a bedroom but was so comfortable we didn't want to move, if fact would have loved to move in haha! Thank you so much Keith and Pauline we hope to get there again, such wonderful value for perfection.
