The King's Head, Lanchester

Room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Thoughtful selection of vegan breakfast goodies. Lovely staff.

I was able to book in at short notice for a one night stay after my other travel arrangements had changed. Room was decent, bed was comfortable and the service was good. Breakfast wasn't quite what I expected - although I suspect that's down to me booking at short notice and not reading the info' properly, so that is certainly not a complaint. Breakfast was a couple of pre-packed croissants with jam etc as well as a a couple of pots of porridge (add water) and some flap jack biscuits - these were in a box in the bedroom. on the dressing table. I ate an evening meal in the bar and it was good along with good service. Plenty of on-site parking as well

It was a decent stopover the only thing that would put me off stopping there again was the breakfast option,

Wonderful Stay at the Kings Head right from check in, breakfast and Dinner at the pub.
