Perfect location, wonderful people, couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

Perfect location, with the kindest hosts possible. Peter takes the time to greet you personally, and even picked me up from the distant bus stop when my train was cancelled. With stories of local history, recommendations for food, and knowledge about how to get where you need to go, you can’t ask for more. Plus the room is comfortable, all amenities are modern and functional, and truly I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about.

Great town.

Location is really most excellent. You're right in the midst of everything, but it is still quiet. The room matches the environment that you're in - some antiques, located in an old building, but all the modern conveniences that one would need. Parking is very close by (if available). The host will meet you when you call (of course, give them an idea of when you're arriving so they can expect you). The host made every effort to make our visit memorable, and we greatly appreciated all his input. We went to Neuschwanstein as soon as it opened (we parked in one of the paying parking lots and walked up - get your tickets BEFORE going up). At 11 am the buses start rolling in and all of a sudden there are people everywhere, so start out early and have a more peaceful (wonderful) experience. Get in town a little early and see the local castle before it closes in the late afternoon - then head out the next morning for Neuschwanstein and Hohenschangau. Then head off to Linderhof - which is another amazing place to visit.

Nice small apartment in the heart of Füssen

We only stayed one night, but the apartment was great. You could not ask for a more central location in the old town. And, free parking was offered very close by.

Great location, friendly owner

We have just had a great 2 night stay in the beautiful town of Fussen . Peter met us via WhatsApp messages to show us where to park in his underground parking slot. The room was ideal, perfectly located in the main street, but not noisy. If anyone has an interest in the great escape movie, ask Peter to tell you where so.e of the scenes were filmed in town.

All was good, so nothing to complain about .

Find in the heart of Füssen. Perfect location in town. Very comfortable and clean studio apartment comfortable bed and modern amenities. Very small kitchen, but workable to make a breakfast in the morning or a small meal. Included a microwave.

Our stays couldn’t have been better!

Peter is a kind, caring, helpful and generous host. We stayed in both of his apartments—-one on each end of our walk on the Lechweg Trail. They are both meticulously appointed and maintained. He provides coffee, tea, and soft drinks along with lots of interesting historical information about both the building and the apartments. He also gave us great advice about hiking and eating in Füssen as well as the very useful Füssen Card. He even texted us to check on our welfare since we were walking from village to village during Storm Boris. We very much appreciated that! Highly recommend!

Great stay in nice and cozy city!

The apartment was located in the city center. The very kind owner was waiting for us and showed us where to park (secured free parking). He took us to the apartment, showed us around. Everything was really clean, everything needed was in the small kitchen (even some bottles of apple juice, water etc. for free). The owner took the time to tell us some historical fact, really fun and told us about the best restaurants in the area. Most amazing place in the heart of the town.

Location was amazing and easy to find. The room was fabulous. Best sleep I’d had in two weeks. Air conditioner which I didn’t expect. The host was amazing. Full of historical information and tips to improve my stay. Kitchen had everything you would need.

The location is very central, near the railway station. The kitchen is well-prepared, so if anyone wants to cook or make coffee, it's easy. Most of the good food joints are nearby and host Peter is excellent in extending a helping hand whenever one needs.

The location was in the old town and absolutely wonderfully located near shops, cafes and restaurants and I received wonderful helpful advice from the host who was informative, helpful, and could not have been more friendly. The room overlooked the pedestrian area but had good sound proofing. I was able to open the windows for fresh air if i wanted to, which was nice as I like it to be a little cooler to sleep. The bathroom was beautiful, modern, with everything I could want (two shower heads, a stool, plenty of towels, hairdryer, and great size too) Chocolates on the bedside made it a lovely welcome and the library of books to read was phenomenal. The well equipped mini kitchen was great, and the host had left several cold drinks in the fridge free of charge. Peter The host was very well versed in the history of the area and had great food and drink recommendations for me. A totally fabulous stay which I hope I will repeat!

there was nothing to complain or moan about - the host was incredibly helpful. The shower and bathroom were modern, clean and had everything I could possibly need. There was extra blankets for the bed (i arrived in minus 7 degrees outside!)

the owner loves his house very much, it is immediately evident. and this is very correct and pleasant. Everything is neat and clean. you don’t feel fear if you can’t find the entrance, there is a small stall opposite it, you need to go around it and then it will become visible. I especially liked the different wooden furniture, the number of pillows and blankets, as well as warm, plush blankets and small pillows

The only place to stay in Fussen - location, history and charm all in one room.

The room was in the PERFECT location, right on the main walking street in a historic building. Even the furniture in the room was historic. The communication for arriving was perfect - email and phone calls were responded too immediately. We called when we arrived in town and Peter was waiting for us to show us where to park and take us to our room - couldn't have been easier. He went above and beyond with recommendations and info for making the most of our stay. This is the only place to stay if you're in Fussen!

Everything worked, spacious room, pleasant surprise

Very good check in and good advice about local restaurants and castle visits, nice room with a good aircon/heating, amenities in the fridge, very clean and new. We could leave our luggage during the day and got free Guest Cards that could be used for free public transport.

A beautiful small town with an excellent place to stay.

The room was above a shop on the main pedestrian street. It consists of a large bedroom with a screened off area for cooking etc. plus an en-suite bathroom. It has air-con, TV etc and the bathroom is very up-to-date. It was generally very quiet. Parking is provided free of charge nearby in an underground car-park. A car for free bus rides locally was also provided.

Super accommodation and great host — fantastic stay!

My stay was simply fantastic and I would recommend this place a lot! The accommodation is stylish, on a superb location and very clean with many amenities. But above all: Peter and Betty are super friendly people that really take care of their guests, and that to the extra mile in any sense possible. They make something special or your stay. Also, I have never experienced such a fast and easy-going communication with the hosts or an accommodation. Everything was arranged for, including a welcome drinks, a bus card, an explanation of the history of Füssen, and a list of recommended restaurants with even there a drink arranged. Big thank you — I really enjoyed my stay and will be back!

Superb

Everything was excellent. The owners of the apartment are just very sweet people. The amenities of the apartment were fully equipped and were just like in the description. The room, kitchen, and bathroom were clean. The bed sheets were also. The location is just in the center of the village and just 300 m away from the train station. The wifi was working perfectly. I did not have any problems during my stay. I collected the keys to the apartment easily. The owners also gave me a free bus ticket to Castle Neuschwanstein. Thank you very much for everything! I would definitely come again or suggest to my friends.
