About this house rental
The Villa "Les Bélisses" is situated on the hills above the medieval city center of Sarlat, the "jewel of the Black Périgord"
The villa, situated in a quiet residential area, offers an enclosed garden of 3000m², with fruit trees and ornamental shrubs, several terraced areas and a beautiful heated pool with sun beds and parasols.
The villa is very spacious and offers 5 bedrooms with ensuite shower room and AC unit.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION:

With almost 250m² of surface area, the Villa Les Bélisses offers a spacious living accommodation.
Set on two levels, the villa proposes on the ground floor:
* a vast living room of 60m² with a sitting area set around a beautiful stone fireplace, and a dining area
* An adjoining open plan kitchen, extremely well equipped (mains gas cooker, espresso coffee machine, microwave, oven, fridge) with a table ideal for breakfast.
* a laundry room with a second fridge, washing machine and storage space
* a first bedroom with two single beds which can be joined together, bedside tables and wardrobe. a sofa bed offers more sleeping flexibility.
* a lovely private shower room with a fully tiled walk in shower, washbasin and separate toilet.
* 3 other double bedrooms (two double and a twin) can be found in the second wing of the house, which can be closed completely from the main part. Each bedroom benefits from direct access to the garden and pool via a french door.
* Their three en suite shower rooms with walk in showers, washbasin and toilets offer a maximum of comfort and privacy to the guests.
From the lounge, a magnificent stone staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find:
* the fifth bedroom, with a double bed, wardrobe space and a balcony overlooking the front of the house.
* this bedroom benefits from a wonderfully spacious private bathroom, with corner sunken bath, separate shower, and double washbasins.
* a separate toilet completes this floor.
La Villa les Bélisses has WiFi access throughout, as well as satellite TV.
The 5 bedrooms enjoy an AC unit for cooling
Its central under floor heating, and large fireplace make it particularly attractive for a rental at Christmas and in low season.
All of the shutters are electric and remote controlled.

* The pool is reserved for your private use.
For the comfort of our guests the pool is HEATED from May to Sept and enjoys sunbeds and parasols

We were several family groups and friends, with 3 children under 4-we found the house amazing, tasteful, comfortable and just as promised--very spacious, ensuite bedrooms were great, the pool was very pleasant and safely fenced-the grounds were beautiful, with lots of magical places for the children to play and a very comfortable patio-outdoor dining space. Kitchen was fine although, because we did a lot of cooking a blender or food processor would have been helpful. We greatly appreciated the assistance of Sabine and the management company, who were very responsive to all concerns. The house location is high above the town, which made walking into town difficult(very steep lanes) but kept us private and quiet. The stars at night are amazing. Sarlat and environs is a beautiful place to visit.

We reserved this property about 16 months ago for a special family celebration, so we were 10 altogether, 6 adults and 4 children. The property exceeded our expectations- very spacious house, huge garden and lovely pool, and in a very peaceful location. Very well equipped both inside and outside. The children spent many happy hours in the pool, and one bonus which we hadn't expected was the table tennis table (not mentioned in the details) which was very well used. Within walking distance of Sarlat although a hard walk back up the hill. We were very sorry to leave and would highly recommend it for a family gathering.
