One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in

Great location.

Everything apart from the location. The bed was broken and on a slant, the bathroom was mouldy and smelt. They did their best to clean it every day but it couldn’t make up for the fact that it needs an extensive renovation.

We spent an enjoyable three nights in Hotel du Bresil, loved being on a high floor. The staff were very friendly.

It was in a great location very near the Jardin du Luxembourg and on the direct RER line to Gare du Nord. We only had breakfast on the first morning but it was plentiful & set us up for our day exploring and enjoying the delights of Paris!

The bathroom felt rather cramped but we’re used to the lack of space in Paris hotel rooms

A good pick in central Paris (for the price).

Friendly and very helpful front desk staff, excellent location (very close to the Luxembourg RER B station, with several grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants within 2 minutes walk), feeling of safety in the hotel and the neighborhood, high speed WI-FI, the nice view from the small balcony.

The sizes (really small) of the room & bathroom and the elevator (just big enough for two persons at a time, without luggage; commonplace for old hotels in central Paris?). One of the two French windows to the balcony was not functioning properly (impossible to open), while the other (bedside) was difficult to access due to obstruction of the bed.

Brilliant location, right next to Jardin du Luxembourg and the RER to Gare du Nord Comfortable bed! Extra blanket. Lovely view from my 5th floor bedroom - the small balcony was a bonus!

Sound insulation not the best - noise from next door rooms travelled easily through probably quite thin walls. Room was a compact size, as was the bathroom - but still had everything I needed. Minor point - no English channels on TV.

A good base for our visit to Paris.

Good location, adequate room facilities, value for money. Very clean, sheets and towels changed every day.

Shower doors faulty, bathroom taps loose. At breakfast they couldn't cope with dietary requirements (gluten-free), it's not difficult, there was a small supermarket opposite where we bought our own bread. But that's typical of Paris.
