Good "budget level" hotel (this is not luxury or even luxury adjacent) in an good location. Loved the 5th arrondissement where this hotel is located. Lots of restaurants, shops, beautiful park. We did find ourselves continually walking about 10-12 minutes closer to the river where the majority of those things are. If you don't mind the walk, which we didn't, this location is good. Others may want to choose another hotel. The hotel itself is quirky in terms of decor. We found the room size good (we had a corner room) where others have commented they were small. Bed was comfortable, A/C was good, WiFi was ok (not great). A smart TV to access Netflix and other platforms would have been great.
Most of the staff was great, but a couple were not so great. Housekeeping could be improved. We ran out of toilet paper twice causing us to have to go down to the front desk to get more. Housekeeping took the empty shower gel bottle but didn't leave more so had to go down and get more. No water replenishment. Lots of dust accumulated at the AC vent. Things such as that. Nothing major regarding Housekeeping just annoyances that made the hotel feel very budget.
