The apartment itself was amazing! It had everything you needed, and was much bigger than I expected. The pictures do not do it justice! However, the actual apartment is not the reason why we enjoyed our stay so much. It was our host, Angela, who truly made our experience unforgettable! My pregnant wife and I had to search for a new place to stay late in the evening because the A/C at the original place we booked was not working. I was concerned that nobody would accept us because I knew that in Italy, you usually have to go through the pre-booking process and pay the city taxes a day or two before checking in. I messaged Angela explaining our situation, and to our surprise, she happily accepted our request and let us stay at her apartment! Angela went above and beyond any host I have ever met! She messaged me back and we maintained constant communication throughout our stay. At our check-in, she met us outside the building and showed us around. She made us feel like family! After we checked out at 6:30am, my wife and I got on the ferry to Como before realizing that we accidentally left our wedding rings at Angela’s apartment. I messaged Angela right away and let her know that we were getting off to take a ferry back to Bellagio. I asked her if she would be willing to open the apartment so we could retrieve what we left. I was afraid she might not respond because of how early it was in the morning, but Angela responded and allowed us to come back to grab our rings. Angela’s hospitality was much better than any other host I’ve had across all travel accommodation websites. My wife and I travel to Bellagio fairly often, and whenever we come back, we will only stay with Angela! Angela - Grazie mille per tutto il tuo aiuto! Torneremo sicuramente!
