Elite Hotel Marina Tower, Spa & Resort

The location was perfect, it was out of the city enough for peace and quiet yet just a 10minute ferry journey across to the town centre. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. The spa was AMAZING! Way better than we expected, £40 to use so many facilities and to feel so relaxed, we decided to go twice!

We booked a room with a double bed however the duvets were just 2 singles which was a bit annoying. I would also have liked more options at breakfast especially to make it more continental. Things like porridge and coco pops could easily be added to give more variety than the cereals they had. It was also very much help yourself during breakfast which is expected but sometimes it is nice to have interactions with staff for basic things like offering more than just instant coffee. The car park was also a bit of a pain and you had to pay for it during your stay without any discount for being a hotel guest.

Location was great, went with the boat everywhere. Super close, easy and fast. Hotel is truly beautiful and we were very well treated. Also went to the spa and that was also lovely. 10/10

The location was fantastic

The easiest way to reach the hotel was not available - it was a planned outage of the ferry stop but nobody told us or even brought it to our attention when we booked in and paid . Also, we paid for a suite which was one massive room rather than a ‘suite’ - everything was a little shabby, including the bathroom fittings and we couldn’t get hot water in the shower. The view was rather marred by the work on the ferry terminal right in front of the hotel.
