The hotel was lovely and clean
The breakfast was cold every morning the bacon was like leather people were complaining that there was no high chairs for little ones this was not a good hotel for disabled no lift only stairs, our toilet was in wrong place see picture

Room was excellent however the sofa bed had not been provided with bedding.
Hotel seemed to be short on staff although those who were on duty were very courteous and professional. Breakfast was slightly chaotic as only one staff member to serve, direct guests and man the front desk

Right on the Thames, quiet, clean, tidy. Amazing value
Rooms were quite hot, could have done with some sort of air con/ fan. But that is personal choice. We like the room really cold when we go to sleep.

Location and price
It’s been renovated - superficially.
Its kitchen (mainly for breakfast) is effectively a van on the terrace.
Bathroom had been renovated but not redesigned. 2 plug sockets in the wrong places. Kettle lead didn’t reach the desk / floor even. Only ‘safe’ place to boil a kettle was on the bed
Breakfast was poor. (Eggs from van everything else from a packet or box)
Still can’t work out why it’s named after a kids’ card game ?
