In a lovely location overlooking a field

Breakfast was expensive. I only had quite a basic avocado on toast and it was £15.

Very convenient for a party we attended

Needed another room key as one is never enough

Lovely looking hotel with excellent covered patio area and large grounds. Room was very large, tastefully furnished and had an excellent bathroom. Quite a quiet and peaceful place to stay with plenty of parking. One of our group was competing in Dorney Lake triathlon a short drive away and we’d definitely stay again if attending this event. Ra Ra bar and grill onsite was excellent for dinner and had a holiday feel to it. Hamilton’s restaurant breakfast was equally good and the menu offered a wide choice in addition to traditional breakfast items. Our waiter on Friday evening, waitresses on Sunday morning, housekeeping lady and Dipali (sorry if I’ve misspelled) in Ra Ra bar and grill on Saturday evening were all excellent and very personable.

Our room didn’t have a decent lock, it was just a lock chain so was up 90% of the night worrying that someone was going to come in due to there being no actual lock. The cleanliness of things wasn’t the greatest, the spare pillows provided had hair all over them in the wardrobe so was unable to use them. The bathroom door was very hard to open and lock ended up panicking that I was locked in at one point due to the lock being faulty. The tap was also really hard to turn on and off it also had a lot of sealant stuff around it so think there seemed to be past issues. Overall hotel was lovely. Lift could do with a bit of an upgraded as it ended up opening and closing a lot before it went up/ down. Staff were really friendly and pleasant. Didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment on it.
