I didn’t like the stay.

Great decoration, real countryside vibe. Bed is comfortable. Spa is pleasant. Beautiful garden. The spa is well equipped and decorated. However it is tiny and can contain only a few people at a time. We had to wait 20 minutes for the hot tub to finish their turn before we could enjoy😶‍🌫️. Think twice if you are booking on a common holiday because apparently this hotel is popular and can be fully booked.

There’s no air conditioning. We stayed over a real hot night of august and we were given a room facing the sun. We woke up with sweat in the night. And very disappointingly, the host never asked us how we liked our stay. The restaurant - the things didn’t go as expected. We were placed indoor on a sunny day for dinner. We were too disappointed to be not able to enjoy the terrace and we had to refuse the arrangements. Again, the host could have shared with us about this information when we booked a table, in which case we will just not book there and avoid this embarrassing situation 🙃. So a bit disappointed about the way the hotel hosts us😶

AMAZING! Food was out of this world.

Do not miss out on the best restaurant experience we have ever had! This family run hotel could run a course on what great looks like in hospitality. From arrival, dinner, breakfast and departure there is no room for improvement when you have got it right! The dinner alone was a standout experience. The decor in the entire hotel was classy and suited it. There is also a SPA however we did not have time to try it out - so there is an excuse to return asap. Thank you for a wonderful stay - it was my birthday treat!

The only reason to visit this place is the restaurant that is really excellent (I know what I am speaking about). My congrats to the chef.

I was charged twice, once by Booking.com, second time on the spot (2x Eur 87 per night). The staff absolutely ignored the payment confirmation by Booking.com I did before and the credit card statement by bank (on-line) showing the real payment in favour of Booking.com. They are really thieves. I did not want to risk a sharp conflict with the staff and local police and, at the end, I paid it again on the spot. The lady at the reception desk was not able to speak English (fortunately, my wife could speak useful French to explain everything). The room No 10 was nice but smelt terribly (maybe the badly ventilated sewerage system was the reason). We came late and ignored the warning that something might be wrong (there was an open window in the room). Hope the fresh air from outside would be good enough to ventilate the room was actually false; when we waked up in the morning we were not in a hotel room but rather in a sewerage tube. The breakfast was more than simple (not worth of EUR 12 per person). My experience is absolutely negative, never to return back.

Tolles Hotel und Restaurant, gerne wieder

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Leider können wir nicht französisch, aber mit Händen und Füßen, ein paar Brocken Deutsch, ein paar Brocken Französisch sowie Englisch hat es geklappt. Für französische Verhältnisse eine große Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr gutes Ambendessen. Auch auf vegetarische Wünsche wurden eingegangen und außerhalb der Karte etwas gezaubert - TOP! Unterbringung im zweitem Haus fußläufig zum Restaurant, alles noch sehr neu. Ideale Lage im Nirgendwo für unsere Wanderungen (Tip: 3 Seen-Wanderung machen) in den Vogessen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre die Speisekarte recht klein, aber so lange blieben wir ja nicht.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit tollem Essen und gutem Service

Wir haben uns im Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer sind modern und gut ausgestattet, alles da was man braucht. Bei den hohen Außentemperaturen wäre eine Klimaanlage allerdings von Vorteil gewesen. Das Bad ist zwar etwas klein, aber völlig in Ordnung. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die bequemen Betten, die für eine erholsame Nacht gesorgt haben. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen im Restaurant war hervorragend – ein echter Genuss! Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, könnte jedoch etwas vielfältiger sein und sollte aufgrund des kleinen Buffets öfter nachgefüllt werden. Durch die begrenzte Größe kommt es zudem gelegentlich zu Wartezeiten am Kaffeeautomaten. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt – wir kommen gerne wieder.

la chambre spacieuse, très propre, très bonne literie, accès direct au SPA, nous avons particulièrement apprécié le bain nordique. excellente table, nous nous sommes régalé, bravo ! petit déjeuner pas mal non plus, avec de bon produits et copieux.

le buffet petit déjeuner est un un peu exiguë, pas trop de place et une deuxième machine à café serait bien venue pour évité la queue. pas de piscine, pas de jacuzzi, dommage !

Une nuit pour déconnecter

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet établissement pour nous déconnecter du bruit de la ville. L’endroit est paisible et ressourçant. Notre chambre était confortable avec une literie de très bonne qualité. Le dîner au restaurant fût un régal pour nos papilles. Merci a toute l’équipe.

Ein ruhiger Platz um einige Tage zu entspannen. Das Abendessen war sehr gut. Die Wellness-Anlage ist klein aber fein.

Für das Morgenessen und den Preis, war die Auswahl viel zu klein. In das Wifi musste man sich jedesmal neu einloggen.

Sehr gute und ruhige Lage. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit kleinem Balkon im neue renovierten Nebengebäude. Sehr schöner Spa-Bereich im Haus. Toller großer Garten. Sehr gute Küche und Weinkeller. Sehr gutes Preis / Leistungsverhältnis. Schönes Ambiente und sehr aufmerksamer Service. Wir werden dieses Kleinod an unsere Freunde weiterempfehlen.

Très belle découverte, y aller c'est déjà y retourner.

Le personnel y est très accueillant, absolument charmant et vraiment aux petits-soins. La chambre était spacieuse et vraiment bien insonorisée. Le dîner fut un rêve, cuisine raffinée et vins spécialement sélectionnés, une félicitée pour les yeux et les papilles. Un endroit parfait pour se reposer, ressourcer etprofiter de la Nature ainsi que des lieux de promenades ou randonnées des alentours.

Lieu de quiétude où l'on mange très bien

2e séjour et toujours ravi. Petit hôtel rénové avec goût. Nous étions cette fois-ci dans l'annexe très bien décorée où se situe le spa (plus pratique d'y séjourner au lieu de devoir ressortir pour retourner aux chambres dans le bâtiment principal) Chambre très confortable et douillette. Lieu hyper calme où tout est réuni pour se ressourcer avec de multiples possibilités de balades/rando. Le restaurant sert une cuisine très bonne, recherchée, avec des produits du coin.

Petit bémol concernant le spa. Pas de tongs/claquettes mises à disposition donc pas très pratique. Peignoirs trop rêches donc pas agréables. Manque de place de casiers dans les vestiaires. Quelques panneaux explicatifs (+ plans + flèches directionnelles) seraient appréciés car on est un peu "perdus", on ne sait pas ce qu'il y a à faire. Hammam pas assez chaud du tout. Mais bains nordiques extérieurs très agréables.
