Wonderful stay at Les Écrins

We had a wonderful stay at Les Écrins! The hosts were very kind and welcoming, the family suite was spacious and comfortable. The hosts organized breakfast every morning, with fresh and tasty local products. Parking at the location was simple. I would highly recommending booking your stay here!

Staying in Les Ecrins is the perfect base to enjoy the beauty that the Alsace has to offer.

Les Ecrins is absolutely worth a recommendation. The house itself is a beautifully restored villa from 1900. The interior decoration is beautifully done and very tasteful. Our room was spacious and although it was at the front of the building, traffic noise was hardly noticable. If you're an extremely light sleeper, you might want to ask for a room that's not at the front. Breakfast is served in one of the rooms at ground floor, where a woodfire is burning in the morning. Breakfast itself is more than plentyful and consists of croissants, bread and cake with an assortment of self-make jams and honey, cheeses, ham, yoghurt, apple juise and coffee. It's really more than enough to start your day in the best possible way. Both hosts are extremely friendly and helpful; they make staying at Les Ecris very enjoyable.

Beautiful bed&breakfast in the Vosges hills.

The hosts were super nice and helpful. Our room was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was prepared with love and included many home-made items. Orbey is a lot less touristy than Kaysersberg and other famous towns and villages in the area. The house has nice balconies and a backyard, where you can relax if the weather is good.

Nothing other than that the weather wasn't perfect, so we didn't have an opportunity to make use of the backyard.

This is a beautiful house cared by 2 wholehearted persons that pay attention to the detail, that have excellent ideas for eating and enjoying nature and culture around and their humanity is always present. We arrived with really bad weather and Patrik and Sébastien were waiting for us there, very patiently. They helped us for a local diner recommendation, that we really enjoyed. Rooms are very cosy and clean, serving water and kettle for tea and coffee. The beds and pillows were very confortable for us, not too hard. Breakfast is delicious, with home made cakes, mermelade, fresh fruits salad, local cheese, fresh delicious bread and croissant. The breakfast room is, silent, welcoming, and beautiful with a fire place that is kept cared all the time. Fresh flowers are also a delight. We received 2 massages from Patrik, one to relieve pain and it the pain relieved for weeks. We could use the breakfast room for drinking a tea together in the evening. It was a pity that we could not use the jacuzzi outside due to the cold weather.

Lovely B&B in a magical part of France

Amazing house and amazing hospitality! The hosts were so kind, and the breakfasts were absolutely fabulous. We had hoped to ski, but the weather didn’t cooperate. The hosts provided some recommendations, which included enchanting villages and lovely Christmas markets. It was a magical trip!

Accueil chaleureux et des hôtes aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. Propreté irréprochable de la chambre et de la SDB. Le jacuzzi a été très apprécié. A quelques kilomètres du lac blanc, l’emplacement est idéal pour les activités de montagne ou pour visiter les charmants villages alsaciens.

Das Gästehaus ist liebevoll ausgestattet und sehr stilvoll renoviert. Ein Kompliment den jungen Besitzern, die auch für die Gäste immer ein offenes Ohr haben und sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich sind. Das Frühstück ist mehr als ausreichend und köstlich, da nahezu alles von regionalen Anbietern stammt und jeden Tag wechselnd andere hausgemachte Mehlspeisen angeboten werden. Hervorzuheben ist auch der angebotene freundliche Willkommenstrunk und der kostenlose Parkplatz im Hof.
