way to expensive for what it is

the surrounding was very nice and the swimming pool was teriffic with comfortable sun beds arround. the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable .

There was no airco in de room. There were no fly screens available to open the windows. The breakfast was really a disaster and not on the level you may expect in France. Frozen bread and very limited choices of fine meats, eggs you have to boil or fry yourself .

Phenomenal relaxing location and super nice host

Best location to escape from the hectic day to day, the view and landscape is phenomenal. Joelle is a very caring, personal host. We will always remember our holiday and look forward to coming back.

Good

Beautifully redisigned old house. The owner is architect and you can tell; the rooms look fantastic and are very clean, beds are good. Great garden and fantastic location. Swimming pool is large enough for couple of strokes, it sure did help us through some hot afternoons. It is a bit narrow though. (Small remark for owner: cleaning the pool for an hour at the end of the afternoon was inconvenient for us and other guests didn't appreciate it too.) Breakfast is good, with nice bread and pastry (yum!), good coffee (in France!) and great herbal tea. Sometimes there are meats or fruit. Eggs or orange juice can be made but it is not offered; you have to ask for it, which we found rather unpleasant. Breakfast is on Hot days not outside but in the greenhouse - very warm!Le Colline du Baa is not cheap, you would expect some things promised on Booking (beach towels, wine for sale), just to be there, without having to ask for it. Joelle said there was a kitchen at our disposal. But the door was locked and when I asked about it, she said she had to open it. She sighed when I said I needed two wineglasses and reluctantly got them for us. For the price we paid the owner could be more friendly. One evening she invited all the guest for a drink and that was very nice. So, to sum up: very positive on location, house, rooms and pool, but the owner could be more relaxed.

Rustic, friendly and homely.

Rustic, homely, loved the interior decoration & furniture. Very friendly and patient hostess. Although a little out of the way (30’ to Colmar), beautiful countryside and quiet. Breakfast was good; fresh bread and fruit juice, local cheese and more.

Great host in an amazing location

The house is amazing and in a beautiful place, peaceful and quiet. Joëlle is very welcoming and gave us great tips about the region. Cute plus: very sweet kittens and 2 nice labradors made our stay even nicer!

Beautiful location, renovated with great care and detail. Luxurious feeling about the rooms which are modern, spacious and homely decorated. Absolutely loved the views, the pool and the very nice lady of the house. We really felt relaxed and at home at La colline du Baa!

Lovely mountain getaway

The hotel is in a lovely spot in the mountains, so sunsets and sunrises are amazingly beautiful. Joelle is a fantastic host, she took really good care of us. I'll definitively be back!

Fantastic place in great scenery

My husband and I spent three days at Joelle's for our 30th wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful hiking holiday. Joelle converted her house into a stunning B&B accommodation. An amazing mix of modern and traditional architecture and interior, great design and thoughtful touches. The location of her place is exceptional with fantastic views and sunshine all day. We could book dinner with Joelle for our anniversary which was very delicious. Her selection of champagne and wine on the menu is fantastic. We also loved her breakfast with the best local food . Joelle was helpful in any kind of aspect . She is a great host , we highly recommend her place and we hope to come back in future.

Prachtig gelegen authentiek verblijf op een groene heuvel, op 1 km afstand van het dorp. Heerlijk stil, met mooie wandelroutes. Zeer aardige gastvrouw. Fijn ontbijt met lokale producten.

Hele mooie locatie met een hele fijne gastvrouw. Rust en ruimte en toch dichtbij Colmar.

De locatie was afgelegen maar toch dichtbij belangrijke voorzieningen. Wel met de auto gaan. Joelle is een hele fijne gastvrouw met veel zorg voor haar B&B en de gasten. Wij hebben erg genoten van de prachtige omgeving, de rust bij het huis en de hele mooie B&B.

Ik heb weinig verbeteringen te noemen. Joelle spreekt heel goed Engels en het ontbijt en de kamers waren prima in orde. De vloer kraakt wat maar dat hoort bij de charmes van de locatie vinden wij. Het zwembad was koud maar kan verwarmd worden. Dit hoefde niet voor ons, maar Joelle had dit op verzoek graag geregeld.

La route pour arriver au gîte est très serrée, peu de visibilité, angoissé à l’idée de croiser quelqu’un... Chaleur difficilement supportable dans la chambre sous les combles en cas de canicule 🥵 Le gîte n’est pas tout à fait adapté aux enfants en bas âge

We hebben een heerlijke mini vakantie gehad, met alles erop en eraan.

De B&B ligt op een prachtige plek, met fantastisch uitzicht rondom. Door de afgelegen ligging is het heerlijk rustig, en in de omgeving kun je hele mooie wandelingen maken. Elke ochtend stond er een heerlijk ontbijt klaar. Het zwembad is een unieke bonus.

Quiétude du lieu. Très reposant. Vue magnifique. Calme, Chambre spacieuse. Bâtisse joliment décorée, très chaleureuse. Gentillesse de l'hôtesse.

Petit déjeuner pas assez copieux, peu de choix. Nous sommes descendus le 2ième matin vers 9h15, il n'y avait plus rien. Juste 2 couques " gardées" pour nous car nous étions les derniers levés. Hors le petit déjeuner est prévu jusque 10h. Remarque faite à notre hôte qui nous a gentiment sous-entendu qu'il fallait arriver plus tôt et que l'on pouvait nous contenter de la salade de fruit. Nécessaire de toilette presque inexistant
