Beautiful comfortable house

Home from home. Beautiful period home situated within walking distance of Rathgar and Terenure villages on a quiet street. Loved the fact you could help yourself in the well stocked kitchen- lovely touch. Lovely room with great shower and comfy bed. Will definitely stay again.

The property was pleasant on arrival. Nice area etc. Clean and welcoming with a lovely open fire.

The property would have scored alot higher but what let it down in my view was the bed. It creaked, made a lot of noise even when I turned lightly. This kept me awake so much so that I actually tried to sleep on the floor from 5am.

Great location in the heart of rathgar, with loads of access to near by eateries. The house is a beautiful building with loads of character with a welcoming feel and tea on arrival on a cool autumn day.

Marie was a great host and always available to answer a question or address any issue.

Overall everything was excellent. Convenient location to grocery stores, bus stops, pubs & restaurants. Kitchen area was well supplied if you wanted to take advantage of breakfast. Staff were guite willing to offer information on Dublin and area.

Very nice Guesthouse in Rathgar area

Easy check in and flexible checkout. Change of room was arranged the next day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the kitchen room was self service and with good variety, cereals, fruit, bread and butter, eggs cheese. The location is excellent for a quiet neighbourhood in Rathgar where I spent many years living. The buses are frequent and the Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The wifi is easy no password, heating is adequate.

In guesthouses the space can be a bit small, same for the shower and bathroom area.

The area is a lovely quiet area, with the little village with restaurants and shops just around the corner. I got a lovely welcome and was given tea and biscuits on arrival which was lovely after my long drive. There was parking outside the property. The room was lovely and cozy and I slept really well. Everything had been thought of to make u feel at home and comfortable.

There was nothing to fault. I would stay there again for sure if I have to go to dublin again for work. It was only a small drive away from I needed to be the next morning.

Honestly, one of the best B&b I've ever stayed at

Everything was amazing!! The place was so beautiful that I went back home reluctanty. The host is very friendly and extremely helpful, she even lent us some adapters for the phone charger. The room was very clean and cozy and the shower had marble tiles, which made it feel clean and luxurious. There is a small kitchen avaiable for the guests, but we never used it; however I noticed that cereal and fresh fruits were supplied. I loved that there were ubrellas you could take right next to the door, considering the Irish weather is pretty unpredictable. I also really liked the fact that the host arranged lots of brochures at the entrance that gave you a good overview of the activities that could be done around Dublin.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. I would most definitely visit here again.

The staff member we met was a wonderful lady who was exceptionally welcoming and made us tea on arrival. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the front sitting room was tranquil and relaxing. The location was a beautiful quiet street close to the bus stop. While they do not provide a seated breakfast there was a small very well stocked kitchen that had some food such as fresh bread, milk, cereals, etc. The latter was a lovely welcome surprise.

Ok place.

Place was clean and comfortable. It was pretty quiet. Reasonably priced. Standard room and place to sleep. Had a nice lobby area if you wanted to sit.

There was a heat wave and no A/C, but they left the window blinds completely open and shut the windows, so it felt like a greenhouse and was super hot, probably fine in the colder months. The shower light had exposed wires which was a little concerning. Parking is out back in an alley and a little funky.

Home away from home

I loved the warmth of the host. She welcomed us with coffee, tea and dessert. I loved the cleanliness of the room, sheets, towels, and bathroom. The beds were super comfortable. I loved how easy it was to access the buses.

The only negative is that they aren't located in the city center but that was not a deal breaker for us. I actually loved it because it gave us a taste of other parts of Dublin.

This was a perfect spot to start and end our Ireland vacation

We really enjoyed our stay and the found all very acceptable. The only challenge was the breakfast. It was not clear whether the eggs were hard boiled or needed to be cooked, and the microwave was not intuitive and there were no instructions. We and several other guests could not figure it out

The area was upscale and safe. Easy access to the city by bus. Owner was kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

We stayed in the attic room which was large and quiet. Just needed a couple of repairs to closet door and bathroom tissue holder.

Ideal stay in a leafy suburb

Beautiful red-brick terraced residence, very well located within walking distance between the villages of Rathgar and Terenure We loved relaxing in the sitting room beside the bow window The kitchenette concept with access to tea, coffee (capsules or plunger), cereal, fruit and a good bit more, really scores points The whole place was spotlessly clean, cosy and welcoming We're looking forward to having an excuse to be back!

Difficult to find something negative, but I'll give it my best: There were a few pieces of information that we had to ask as they came up over the first few days of our stay (about parking, the use of the common spaces...) - the woman who welcomed us didn't give us those indications being probably still busy getting the rooms ready, although she was really nice and gave us a choice between 2 bedrooms! Another minor issue, there was a chest of drawers in the wardrobe, so it was difficult to use the hangers - yes, I'm really trying to be fussy here!

Charming Guesthouse with loads of character, and a lovely host.. we had an appointment in crumlin perfect location very close, with on street parking which she gave us the ticket for. Lots of lovely bits in the room, herbal tea, fridge, kettle
