Lovely house in need of little care to be great

The house is nice and cozy, location is great and views amazing.

The house is a bit run down (curtain hooks broken/missing, walls need fresh paint) and the outdoor area didn't have enough cushions for sofas and chairs, sofa table was broken and chairs covered in bird poop. No soap in toilet. Things just need a little love and care for the stay to be amazing.

Beautiful house perfectly situated in Durbuy. The outside area is perfect for a sunny or rainy day with a big table outside (which is covered). The living room has a fireplace to warm up at night, and the house is a short aalk away from the city center. The sauna was also an awesome facility to enjoy with friends.

The bedrooms and bathroom are quite small and simple, but the highlight of the house is certainly the main downstairs and outside areas.

Nice location and beautiful garden.

Very busy street, a speed bump in front of the house. All cars and motorbikes break and fasten again. Extremely busy road. Durbuy is a tourist trap, it lost its charm. Wifi did not work, calling did not help either. It was clean, but mostly superficially clean.

Leuk huis op geweldige plek

De locatie van het huisje was geweldig. Met een mooie tuin om het huisje heen en een groot terras, met prachtig uitzicht. De wandelweg naar Durbuy was heel fijn, een brug over de rivier. Je hoeft niet langs de weg te lopen, zoals op veel andere plekken.Het huisje was schoon. De sleutel kon uit een kastje bij de voordeur worden gehaald (met een pincode). Er was een parkeerplek voor de deur. De locatie was een goede uitvalsbasis om uitstapjes met de auto te maken.

De grote dingen waren allemaal goed. Er waren wat kleine dingen die verbeterd kunnen worden. De koekenpannen met anti-aanbak laag waren allemaal zo beschadigd dat ik deze niet durfte te gebruiken. Ik miste wat haakjes in de badkamer en slaapkamers (om bijvoorbeeld handdoeken op te hangen). Er hingen een soort bewegingssensoren beneden in de woonkamer. Ik dacht eerst dat dit misschien camera's waren en dat ik in de gaten werd gehouden. Er zou misschien een uitleg hierover in de informatiemap kunnen zitten.

Mooie lokatie, huisje heeft wat gebreken, niet onoverkomelijk, matige prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Huis: De lokatie is op zich prima, aan de rand van Durbuy, 1 brug verwijderd van het stadscentrum. Prachtige natuur met rivier de Oerthe vlakbij. De glazen overdekking van een deel van het terras is fijn als het regent (zoals bij ons het geval). Mooiste was een wandelroute langs de Oerthe van Durbuy richting Barvaux.

Het huis: Het huis was wat matig qua afwerking. Overal enkel glas, slechts 1 hor boven die ook nog een het raam niet volledig afsluit, ongezellige woonkamer, TV waarbij geen enkele zender het deed (vonden wij niet erg, maar voor anderen wellicht een probleem), 1 toilet boven in kleine badkamer. Tuin: De tuin is wat onlogisch ingedeeld en stampvol teken, pas op dus. Sauna: Niet geprobeerd, maar leek niet erg functioneel. Openbaar vervoer in Durbuy: rampzalig. Als je zelf geen auto hebt, check dan heel goed of er tijdens jouw verblijf bussen rijden. Bij ons reden er totaal geen bussen en moest de plaatselijke taxi 2 dagen tevoren worden geboekt. Dit is direct problematisch want het meest nabij gelegen treinstation (in Barvaux) ligt op 4 km (en lopend met koffers etc. langs stijle hellingen is dit niet te doen). Er zijn geen fietspaden en als wandelaar loop je ook vaak gewoon deels over de autoweg. Het gewoon niet rijden van bussen buiten het hoogseizoen worden ook nergens aangegeven. Wij kwamen er pas achter toen we er al waren. Durbuy als stad: super klein. Wel aardig, maar super toeristisch en leuk voor een middag. Langer wordt gauw saai.

Helemaal prima

Perfecte locatie net buiten het centrum van durbuy maar letterlijk tegenover de brug over het water zodat je in een paar minuten in het centrum staat.

We hebben een superweek gehad; de locatie is perfect en het gezellige huis heeft in principe alles wat nodig is. De bank die op ligstand kan voor de televisie is heerlijk om met zijn 4’tjes naar een kerstfilm te kijken. Het terras is door de overkapping ook met slecht weer heel leuk om op te borrelen en naar de lichtjes aan de overkant te kijken. Alleen het aantal handdoeken (4) en vaatdoekjes (2) was voor een week aan de karige kant. De koelkast ging kapot op de dag van onze aankomst. De eigenaar liet meteen de volgende dag iemand komen maar vervolgens gebeurde er niets. De koelkast kon alleen uit (dus geen koeling) of op vriesstand. Daardoor zaten wij gedurende een week (incl . de feestdagen) met bevroren of bedorven boodschappen waarvan ik een gedeelte niet meer kon gebruiken.

Séjour dépaysant et très agréable.

Emplacement idéal, logement très agréable et fonctionnel pour une famille et un long week-end. Tout se fait à pied, autant pour le village que les départs de randonnées. Village très mignon, et féérique à Noël...

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas quelques bûches de bois pour l'insert en cadeau de bienvenue, ce serait vraiment très sympa sur la période Novembre-Mars. Préciser également qu'il n'y a pas de commerce de proximité pour du beurre, pain...Il faut changer de village et donc reprendre la voiture. Ce serait bien de prévenir les locataires, afin qu'ils prennent leurs dispositions...

Mooie locatie, vriendelijke host die meteen hielp wanneer we vragen hadden. Netjes en gezellig huisje.

De tweede kamer was minder geschikt voor een koppel aangezien de bedden niet naast elkaar konden staan.
