What a generous hotel and team: always a warm reception returning from our historic excursions.

The positive comments by others are all confirmed, we had a great stay. The generosity of the hosts and staff, the wonderful breakfast, and the location right in the center of Bastogne, WITH the fantastic restaurant, make this an absolute topper for accommodation. We strolled around town to visit the war-museums, and we also did a fantastic autumn hike in the fields around Bastogne, beautiful and impressive to think about the history of this place. The hotel, offers a warm and positive return after such impressive experiences.

All Aboard! For a stay at Leo Station.

Breakfast was outstanding. Central location was --- well --- central. The bed was amazingly comfortable.

Room was smallish, bathroom needs updating, a standing shower instead of a tub with shower curtain would be nice. Narrow stairs to get to room could be a problem for older or larger customers.

Good hotel overall, but with a few hiccups.

Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was superb. Location is the best in town. Room was pretty big, as was the bathroom. The bed was very nice, same goes for the pillows.

The room was quite cold. Even with the radiator on max it was still pretty cold (the hallway was warmer than the room). Only 1 socket for a 3-person room. Room was pretty dark. No central light on the ceiling, only a small light above each bed. The water in the shower was cold. Even after 5 minutes of the running the shower, it still wasn't hot (or even lukewarm).

A satisfactory stay

Good location on the high street, near to many of the World War 2 attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable.

No tea and coffee facilities provided. Reception was only open from 2pm onwards. The pillows were awful, meaning our sleep wasn't great.

Great room and close to restaurants

Our room was amazing - everything was updated and clean. There was a jet bath in the room and everything was so clean I felt comfortable having a bath after as rainy day in Bastogne. Location was great for visiting the bois Jacques and the airborne museum. We had dinner at the Leo Station and it was good. We were able to make a same day reservation.

Our room was warm - but I believe the heat in most building in this area of Europe is on at this time (late October) - as Canadians we are finding all of our hotels a bit warmer. Machine for water in the lobby wasn’t working. Restaurant staff gave us free bottles though!

Good location, accomplished the goal of visiting Bastogne. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I had no option for breakfast. It was either the full blown thing or nothing. It was a hassle just to get coffee.

When I made the reservation well in advance of the trip I reserved two rooms that ended up being in the annex with no lift. Staff said this was explained on booking.com. It was not that I saw. Had this been clear at time of booking I would have gone somewhere else.

Nice to stay for a night to visit museums

The staff is great and helpful! Welcome drinks are provided even for a small one. Happy to have a homemade ice-tea without sugar. Nice that there is a parking lot. My kid was amazed by bathtube with lightning. Nice to stay for a night and have amazing breakfast in the morning!

Air conditioning didn't work as expected (you can't adjust temperature even having a control panel in a room, we asked couple of times to fix it at the reception but at the end we opened a window. Indeed then it's not quiet any more. The bed is comfortable but pillows are not so good.

Nice hotel, central location

Room was huge and very clean, bathroom was also massive. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. Great location for the town square bars and restaurants.

Air con didn't work in our room and the temperature during the day had been 36 degrees. Because electricity worked when you put a key card in and we only had one card, we didn't know about the air con until we got in after 10.30pm so it was too late to get anyone to sort it out.

The location

Stayed in the old Leo rooms in another building next door.Looked like it hadnt been renovated in 30 years,musty smell and very very dated.Loud music from directly across the road till 3am,not a good experience

Nice friendly staff, good sized room, beds need to be updated

Staff at reception were very friendly (the Polish lady who's name I forget.) The room was nice and big as was the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of different things available and located in a nice space.

The beds were terribly uncomfortable. They were old and rickety. The matrass topper was not fitted well and kept sliding off the bed. There was no coffee / tea facilities in the room which is disappointing.

The hotel put us up in the annex building and was able to provide us for the requests we made for an easy accessible room for people with limited mobility. Both rooms were pretty big and the ground floor room had an easy walk in shower. For some reason the booking through booking.com didn't clearly indicated how to tell the venue that there were 2 people staying per room and that could have led to an extra costs, but the receptionist waived that cost for us as they are aware that it's not the most clear thing to do on booking.com. A nice gesture. Free wifi

Breakfast was a bit pricy, but buffet style with a lot of options, so you can probably get your money's worth in food and coffee. The entrance to the buffet is a bit cramped as we had to exit the same way out so I guess when it gets busy you can get a little traffic jam going, but there weren't too many people having breakfast at the same time as us, so it wasn't a big problem. The coffee machines could have some indication of what is what for non French speaking guests, because it would become a bit of an experiment to figure out what the options are if you don't understand French. I guess the staff can also probably help out with that, we didn't give that a try, so maybe that is the way they solve that? Some of the bars had live music that we could still hear a while into the night, but that isn't really under control of the hotel. At least you don't have to go very far to find places to eat and/or drink.

Hotel was lovely. Rooms spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. A great selection to choose from. The restaurant food was top notch. Would definitely recommend staying here and I would stay again.

The central building rooms were very good as was the breakfast BUT the annex rooms were very bad , dirty and very dated, stairs only no lift also the supposed locked front door which guests needed a key code for was broken allowing anyone to walk in and they did

Good centrally situated Hotel in Bastogne.

Excellent location on the main town square with several restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance. The hotel is fairly modern and out rooms were spacious with good beds and en suite facilities.

Breakfast at €18 each we felt was excessively expensive so we had an excellent breakfast ( croissant/baguette and hot drink) at a bakery/cafe 50 yards away in the square for a total of €22 for the four of us.

Good location and good restaurant

Room was on the third floor with no lift. Not suitable for person with walking difficulties. Otherwise room was good. We did not have the breakfast but we did have an evening meal in the restaurant and that was very good.

Bikers review of Hotel Leo station, villa et annexes

Good location opposite the Sherman tank in the carpark at the top of town where bike lockers can be used to store your helmet, gloves, jacket & secure your motorbikes. Room was clean & spacious with an enormous bathroom.

Finding the hotel entrance is a bit confusing. First door on a side street tells you to go around the corner to the restaurant where another sign says to go a couple more doors down the street. The room we had was then located 2 more doors further up the road with a pin code entry system. 2 flights of twisty stairs which have no windows so make sure you press the light switch.
