Good hotel

Nice room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Organised 5AM breakfast package with coffee for participants in Bastogne-Wiltz-Bastogne trail run. Good parking. Some ongoing renovation, but not really a hindrance.

Great stay and will recommend to friends

Really happy with this hotel! We stayed in the luxury suite and everything was super clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub and shower were amazing. Breakfast was great and access to the coffee machine downstairs was 24/7. The location is safe with lots of free parking and close to downtown with a short walk. I liked that it was close enough but off the main strip making it quieter. We were skeptical about the Mexican restaurant but it turned out to be amazing food!

Would not use the guest bathrooms downstairs in the lobby- super small and probably only good for kids.

It’s very depressing. Dark, dull, rooms are old fashioned with a table cloth on the table, very overpriced, couldn’t wait to leave, Staff are really nice and helpful, but there is no way it’s 4 star, 2 at best.

After traveling Europe for a month, we stopped in Bastogne for one night. The beds in Hotel Melba were SO comfortable! The room was well appointed and the temperature was just right. The breakfast was exceptional as well. I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee; it seemed a little weak to me. The location was perfect for walking to dinner and for walking to several historic sites right there in town.

The shower is a joke. No chance to take a shower without flooding the bathroom. Also not possible to hang the hose to the wall.

Air con would have been better - Room was rather Hot - Did provide 2 fans though so slept ok - But maybe a consideration if you are heat sensitive and in a hot period

Lovely Hotel in a Great Location

What a lovely hotel. It's in a good location with an easy walk into town. We had a very friendly welcome, the room was large and the bed was big and comfortable. There were tea making facilities and the bathroom was clean and had a lovely big shower. The hotel has a restaurant and we had the set menu which was delicious. Breakfast was amazing and had so much choice. Probably one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel.

Great location and a well run hotel.

The location was very good, only a short walk to the main square, with shops and restaurants in easy reach. The parking for the motorcycles was good, it was flat and under a covered area close to the door. The restaurant in the hotel was nice, the food was good. The room was clean and a good size, with a comfortable bed and the fridge was a real bonus. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was good, with a range of options. Would stay here again.

Meaningful trip to the Bastogne WW2 museums

Great hotel for touring the Battle of the Bulge locations.

Stayed here 20 years ago. Loved the hotel then and love it now. Great location right in the middle of Bastogne. There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. The rooms, the facilities, the breakfast, the staff are all excellent. If I ever get back to Bastogne, this is where I'm going to stay. Due to construction in the parking area behind the hotel, you have to park on the street in front. But there are ample spaces so it was no problem.

The location for the main square in Bastogne was perfect, also very close to the 101 Airborne museum

Breakfast was poor, not enough staff in to replenish items or clean tables when guests leave, 2 out of our 3 nights we ate breakfast with someone else's dirty plates in our table - room very warm we had to sleep with the window open and not enough pillows especially for such a huge bed, my sofa has larger cushions

Bar and Restaurant closed Sunday (check Monday too !) Local people can be a little cool - it’s just their way Bastogne food and service is not great. I did not eat at the Hotel Restaurant which did Tex Mex

Lovely location in downtown Bastogne. Parking plentiful in the hotel lot or street. Staff very friendly and kind, made towel swans when we mentioned we were on our honeymoon! Mexican style restaurant downstairs and breakfast was terrific

Centrally located, it got us to all the city sights. The breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was rather warm both night and didn’t cool down until well after dark. They should invest in some AC.
