HUGE FAMILY BEDROOM, LOVELY VIEW AND SWIMMING POOL, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF (THEY GOT UP EARLY TO MAKE US BREAKFAST TO TAKE ON A 4.30AM SAFARI), DELICIOUS FOOD (ORDER IN ADVANCE), VERY PEACEFUL, ONLY 3 BEDROOMS AND HAD PLACE TO OURSELVES FOR ONE DAY. GOOD BREAKFAST.

THEY NEED TO PUT BACK THE MOSQUITO NETS ON THE BEDS (AS SHOWN ON BOOKING.COM) AS THERE WERE A FEW BUGS, QUITE REMOTE.

Nos hemos alojado aquí un grupo de 12 personas ocupando toda la villa. Creo que es lo ideal pues así no compartes los fantásticos espacios comunes como el comedor, el salón o la piscina. Es una villa verdaderamente de lujo decorada con mucho gusto y con un personal fantástico que te lo facilitan todo. Las habitaciones muy espaciosas y muy limpias. La piscina una maravilla cuando vuelves del safari de Yala. Los desayunos muy buenos, un día salimos a las 5 am para el safari y nos dieron unos picnics muy completos para desayunar más tarde. Para la cena nos ayudaron pidiendo comida que fueron a buscar ellos mismos en tuk tuk. Coincidió que era el cumpleaños de uno de nuestros chicos y por sorpresa le decoraron el comedor y se ocuparon de tener un pastel para celebrarlo. Estamos muy contentos de haber escogido este alojamiento para pasar dos días de Yala, que aunque está a unos 45 minutos de la entrada al parque la villa vale la pena!

Large, comfortable rooms with good AC. Very comfy bed and good shower. Beautiful pool and grounds. Large sitting area. Hotel is very well maintained and nicely decorated. Very basic breakfast included. Good value for money.

There were no additional services or facilities at the hotel and there are no shops or restaurants close by. It would be good to have a small refrigerator in the room to allow guests to keep some items. There are some good places to eat that can be reached by taxi.

The location is great, very close to the Yala park and the guides come and pick you up in the morning. The staff is very welcoming and caring. The parking is big. The first impression is wonderful; large foyer, big pool, welcoming service, spacious rooms and bathroom, blackout curtains (a rarity in Sri Lanka). The staff prepares a to-go breakfast at 5:30 when you go to Yala park.

Compared to other places we stayed at for the same amount of money in Sri Lanka I'd say it under-delivers. The furniture looks and feels very old and dusty, the A/C unit is unable to keep the room sufficiently cool even if on for the whole night (maybe a ceiling fan, or a stronger A/C unit would help), the cleanliness is poor (the bathroom is moldy, with wildlife freely roaming inside including ants, geckoes and a cockroach). It's hard communicating with the hosts, they do not speak english. Based on the pictures, we expected more. We would not come again.
