Great value, everything you need for a short break.

I choose this property as it had a fantastic outdoor space, and with the forecasted good weather I wanted to take advantage of it. It didn't disappoint, virtually sun all day through to the night and very relaxing and tranquil being next to the water with all the birds.

A freezer would have been helpful for things like ice.

Amazing property with beautiful views across the Hayle estuary.

Perfect location in the main street of Hayle. Beautiful views across the Hayle estuary with lots of birds bobbing around on the water. The property was very clean and tidy. Done out to a high standard. Also had everything you needed + more if you wanted to cook or bake in the property. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of storage space for clothing. The bathroom has plenty of storage space too with a double sized shower. Out side in the garden it has a loverly seating area and a couple of sun beds. There is also a shower outside.

What a lovely find!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Waters Edge - it has everything you need as a bolt hole home from home. The kitchen is well equipped if you wanted to prepare meals, the bathroom was lovely with great shower pressure and it was great to have a separate living space from the bedroom. The bedroom itself was spacious with storage for us to unpack and feel properly settled. Kat (host) was also very accessible and accommodating - thank you. We travelled during the winter months so could not make use of the outdoor facilities, but there are two seating areas, and even an outdoor shower which would be ideal for clean ups after a beach day.

The property does not have parking but there is street parking available and Kat shared recommendations too.

Perfect little place to stay for visiting relatives in Hayle.

Secluded from main road but very convenient to get out and about. Very cosy little place for 2 people. Bedroom very roomy, comfortable bed and pillows and plenty of storage. Nice bathroom with good shower. Everything very clean. Looks a great setting to stay in warmer weather as patio looks right out onto the estuary. Will be using again when visiting family in Hayle.

Internet wasn't working but had been reported so am sure would be fixed after Xmas holidays.

Excellent, this cottage is so comfortable and welcoming, you won't want to leave!

This was perfect accomodation, I cannot score it high enough. Much kindness and thoughts have gone in to this accommodation to make guests feel welcome with special treats and fresh flowers! We enjoyed the location, close to many attractions and the beautiful sights of Cornwall. The place was so comfortable, immaculately clean with everything we needed. The backyard was a bonus with seating and a view to the estuary with birds and a stunning sunset.

Exceptional stay in an exceptional property

The property was tastefully decorated, spacious, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable, as was the good quality and well maintained furniture and furnishings. On entering the property we were greeted with flowers, a fresh clean smell, piccolos of prosecco and chocolates on the pillow. We were very happy for the convenience of supplies (eg, washing-up liquid & cloth, tea/coffee/fresh milk, garbage bags) so that we didn’t need to repeatedly visit the supermarket. There was also a bag of clean toys in good condition; this would have been fantastic if we had children. There is ample storage/cupboards/closets to store bags, and also ample clothes hanging spaces. On-street car parking was conveniently located across the street, with additional car park located about 100 metres away. The property’s photos are accurately reflect the property. Communication with the property was exceptional and detailed.

A cozy place on the waters edge

Nice, clean, cozy, all the requirements, outside patio, close to most places, free WiFi, no steps, fabulous shower, free street parking or reasonable nearby public parking (about 16£ a week), next door nice Italian restaurant, last but not least brilliant owner.

A hidden gem.....

This is a little hidden gem. Although you park on the main road, the accommodation is tucked away at the back of the house with a spacious decking area over looking copper House pool...lots of bird life....a real peaceful sanctuary. The accommodation is lovely and well equipped. A lovely welcome , flowers on the table greeted us and delicious biscuits. The accommodation is spacious, clean, bright, and well presented...certainly would return.

lovely place to stay in riverside location

The accommodation was attractively furnished and well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. We loved the outside space overlooking the river. Communication with the owner was excellent and we were able to get access a couple of hours before the official check in time. We had an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant next door but one. The road at the front was busy but we didn't have a problem parking the car.

Apart from having to take care crossing the road everything was perfect and we would love to return.

Great place to get around cornwall.

Really lovely bugalow style accommodation with everything you need. Bed was very comfortable shower was great and a good kichen with oven/hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge and plenty of utensils. There were tea/coffee, sugar and milk for a few days and shortbread biscuits on arrival. Overlooking the river Hayle from bottom of garden. Communication with host was excellent.

Telly was hit and miss and could do with a few larger glasses but only minor things.

Just right —excellent transport links and good walks to Beach and costal paths

For two friends travelling together the sofa bed was great and my friend enjoyed the comfy double. It was January so good to be warm inside but the patio and outside space would be good in better weather.Nice to see Egrets.

Lovely compact space with everything you need.

Its location to sightseeing other coastal villages and towns in West Cornwall. It was great having a garden overlooking the estuary. It was very clean and comfortable and the owners added lovely touches.

One of the best venues I've stayed at in Cornwall & very highly recommended

What can I say about Waters Edge.....simply superb!! The facilities & all amenities were excellent & of the highest standard. The controls for all appliances, shower etc were very clear & easy to use, both showers inside & outside were superb. The dining area was spot on for myself & my 11 year old which we used for breakfast & the occasional dinner plus one lunch when we decided to stay at the property & use the excellent sun loungers as the forecast was quite varied. The living area was very relaxing & I connected my Apple TV to the lounge TV for evening online streaming of Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney etc most of which are available on the Smart TV but using my own device saves having to login to all services then logout as you leave. the washing machines was a true bonus which we used a couple, of times to refresh clothes & beach towels. We hardly used the heating as the ambient temperature in the property was good even with overnight temperatures of 12-14 degrees but when we did we had no issues so felt comfortable when inside. We met Kat on the last day as we were taking our belongings to the car, she was so nice toward my son & I, made us feel like truly welcome guests. I would highly recommend Waters Edge & would most definitely stay again next year if not sooner

This is no criticism at all just an observation for improvement - the refrigerator in the property would benefit from an ice box/small freezer section such that freezer blocks could be frozen for when going to one of the local beaches or parks for the day so your food & drinks could remain chilled.

It's a handy location and Hayle is quiet compared to other Cornish towns. The beaches are hidden away which protects them from massive amounts of tourists. The garden at the property is great when it is hot and the garden shower is a fantastic touch and just brilliant when you are sunbathing for cooling off!

Great place to sleep at the end of a busy day, just a couple of tweaks would make it perfect.

Nice furnishings and host provided extra touches such as tea/coffee, milk and biscuits. Lovely having exclusive use of the rear garden.

Large damp area on wall right next to dining table, impossible to open fridge unless you bend down to grab the bottom of the door which isn't great for arthritic guests. Rubbish directly outside garden gate on rear wall of garden.

Just everything - super smart decor, every amenity you could need, easily accessible, quiet, lovely view. clean and smelt devine. Cant thank Kat enough for a lovely stay - she even supplied goodies for my arrival (milk, lovely biscuits, fresh flowers, cider - very well received thanks

Lovely stay.. would stay again

Lovely outdoor space. Small apartment but had everything we needed. Netflix account on tv for guests and a large bag of children’s toys were fantastic finds :) also 20 min drive from st Ives or carbis bay. Central location to visit other places

Parking was a little difficult . Not many spaces along the road and having to cross with two kids with no crossing nearby was tricky and the road was quite busy.

Amazing location, beautiful views & wonderful hosts

Very Homely and everything had been thought about and it was fully equip with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Great location to visit many key places in Cornwall and right near the beach and very near shops too. Lovely outside area (although we did not use it) was such a nice view in the mornings and evenings and seeing the birds was wonderful. Very friendly hosts and couldn’t do anything more for you! We would love to visit again!!!!

Unfortunately on our visit the Heating didn’t work so it got a bit chilly at times and there was a lot of condensation on the windows which made things feel cold and damp but the hosts were very quick to get a plumber in and were very apologetic and sourced us a radiator very quickly so we were lovely and warm with this.
