We found the room very airless. Ie. hung some clothes up to dry and they were unchanged 10 hours later, even with the towel rail on! However this didn’t interfere with sleeping.

Wonderful apartment and hosts

The apartment was beautifully decorated and had all essentials needed (with a good biscuit selection). The property owners were friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for us both and our German Shep- she thoroughly enjoyed her stay too.

A comfortable studio apartment in a great location!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay in "Highridge apartment". We liked the combination of beautiful surroundings and "city comforts". In the first place the room/studio apartment is attractive, in perfect condition and well-equipped, and the limited kitchen equipment was just what we needed for breakfast and snacks. Moreover, the room feels very private, almost secluded, and it is very peaceful. Nevertheless, it provides all the modern comforts including Wi-Fi. In the second place we found the location of the room to be ideal: not only does the room look out on an attractive garden, trees and distant fields, but it is also just a short walk away from the restaurants, cafés, shops and supermarket of Wooler.

The room is on the side of a hill. The steep path to the room might not be suitable for persons with mobility constraints.

Relaxing in a beautiful calm setting

The location was fabulous, looking out towards the Cheviot Hills. Wooler is a lovely village with good access to other areas in Northumberland, so a great base. The accommodation was superb as it was spacious, very clean and well equipped. It was lovely to find tea, instant coffee, sugar biscuits, bottled water and a coffee machine and pods plus milk was also offered. There was also washing up liquid and cloths. It was also very well designed, stylish and had onsite parking. There was also a small table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy the view. The host was really lovely too and and you could tell a lot of care had gone into the accommodation and ensuring that you had the best stay.

I loved it :-)

The hosts were very nice and helpful, explained all to me upon my arrival. Throughout my stay they were available in case of questions. The room is very spacious with a superb bed and all the furniture one or two guests might need. The small kitchen area was found well equipped with coffee making facilities, a microwave, a properly sized refrigerator and a sink (and of course all the crockery and cutlery required). Toilet and shower are in separate small rooms off the main area. The whole room was spotless and thanks to a non-smoking policy smelling fresh and clean. A small table and two chairs outside offered a chance to have breakfast outside in the morning sun. The town center is maybe 400 yards away so easy walking distance.

An inviting environment in gorgeous surroundings.

It was exactly as described - spotlessly clean and close to all local amenities. We had a very friendly welcome and the fabulous garden for the dogs was an absolute bonus - loved it and would definitely return.

Very enjoyable three night stay.

The apartment was well equipped with thoughtful touches. It was located up a steep hill but within easy reach of the town with food shops , an interesting distillery and a good Italian restaurant.

Would have found more of an induction into the features of the apartment helpful. As an older person I found the external steps to the path down to the apartment a little challenging.

Everything about the accommodation was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate with a few touches that you don't expect but make you welcome. The location is only a two minute walk into Woller town centre. If you are looking for accommodation in or around Woller you won't be disappointed if you book this.

This is the best home for my holiday that I have stayed in for a long long time. Caroline and Ian were excellent host and couldn't do enough for me. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Great facilities in the apartment, everything you need including choice of tea and various coffee with biscuits and fresh milk provided too. Caroline went above and beyond putting extras in our room as we were celebrating a birthday. Bed was very comfortable and was in a lovely quiet location, however very close to the town centre.
