Great place!

Great accomodation, one whole room for you, very clean and there is even a balcony.

There was not much space to exercise inside, and the stove seemed to not be working completely properly. Also, the location is a bit far from the bus station, so it is better to take a taxi, or a bus if it exists.

Excellent Value at Pretty Lake Ohrid

Everything was excellent. Friendly, immaculate, well maintained, and great value for money. Two choices of walk into town, one straight along the road outside, approx 15 mins, or the delightful coastal trail overlooking the lake, approx 30 - 40 mins.

Economic stay - perfect for a couple of days

The host Sandra is very friendly and manages the language problem with her smartphone easily. Great room with balcony, big shower and little kitchen facililty. Not central but close to the lake. Supermarket around the corner.

Feeling home on the better side of the lake

Feels like home. Simply. Every detail is taken care of from just passing the door. Mostly appreciate heating in a colder month which really was making the stay worry-free and cozy and brilliant contact with the hosts. Very hygenic place which happens rarely. More than nice spacious balcony and perfectly equipped kichenette. Booked for one week, stayed three =) Two very nice shops, atm and taxis available just closeby. For me this is better side of the lake.

A home away from home and not easy to leave

I arrived at the Villa, thinking I might stay a week, but as the days passed, I extended my stay, and extended again, and again, and again…really I did not want to leave. Comfortable, friendly, close to the lake, not too far from the city, Villa Ivanovi was perfect for me. The grandmother who takes care of the place will be your best friend while you stay, and the manager is just a quick message away. I have stayed in many “villas” in the countries of the ex-Yugoslavia, and this was definitely the best one in terms of price, facilities and comfort.

Some people say the city center is far away, but really it’s not. You can walk there straight in 20 minutes, or you might follow my example and walk along the lake and up in the hills, past the famous church and into the old town. I enjoyed that walk most days during my time in Ohrid.

Exceptional hospitality, cleanliness, and convenience

From the moment I arrived, the extreme kindness of the host made me feel incredibly welcome and at ease. Meeting me with a cup of tea and a cookie, she explained everything promptly upon entering. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding, with a visible smell of freshness as soon as I stepped into the room. Amazing conditions included a huge bed, washed towels, and a private balcony to name just a few, adding a touch of "luxury" to my stay. With the entrance door open 24 hours a day, coming back late was never a problem. The check-in process was fast and easy, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

I had the most wonderful stay at this hotel, the following points should work as a sort of "additional information" that I find to be useful. Firstly, it's important to have cash (euro or denars) on hand for payment at the property. Secondly, while the property is a bit far from the very center, requiring a walk of slightly over 20 minutes, it is still an excellent choice if you wish to explore the surrounding area. Despite the distance, it didn't hinder my overall experience and actually added to the peacefulness of the location. This hotel truly made my stay in Ohrid perfect, and I would love to return someday. It definitely deserves more attention for its exceptional qualities. Thank you!

Everything was perfect, the lady was so nice. With this price, this is the best hotel you can find in Ohrid.

The owner was extremely response and answered all of my questions. The place itself was very nice and clean. Owner's grandma that was taking care of it, is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Even tho~ there was a language barrier, she kinda felt when I needed something and helped me all the time. Will definitely book again on my next Ohrid trip ❤️

Best Place in Ohrid

It was the cleanest place I have stayed in. Like other reviewers have said, the elderly lady who runs the place, is very nice, kind hearted and makes any guest feel a true heartfelt welcome. Organic strawberries, herbal tea, cookies and strong Balkan Coffee were all provided during a stay of a few days and more was offered. Everything is brand new, from the beds to the kettles provided in the accommodation units/rooms. It's only 15 minutes walk to the centre but in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. I have payed double the price at other places and not got what I enjoyed here. At 9 euros a night, there is nothing to add except don't waste your money paying for overpriced accommodation; come here, save your money and relax.

Top Preis Leistung.

Ich habe fur das appartment neun euro bezahlt. Ausgezeichnetes Preis Leistungsverhaktnis. Ins Centrum musste man genau 1,5 Kilometer laufen. Der Strand ist 4 Minuten entfernt. Danke an die sehr freundliche grandmother.
