The hostel in a great location, good price for value!

Art & Flats has an excellent location, just a short walk from the main market hall and Valencia’s top attractions. The shared space is beautifully arranged, with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area that makes it easy to feel at home. The staff were very friendly, and we really appreciated the option to store our luggage, which was important for us.

The only downsides were related to cleanliness in the room – there was quite a bit of dust under the bed and some mold under the showers, likely due to poor ventilation and excess moisture. Apart from that, everything else was great, and the overall experience was positive.

The worst experience in my life!!!

Stay away from this place!!! Terrible experience!!! I was left out of the hostel...couldn t get a reply from anyone via text nor call...I had to find another accomodation at 22.30 at night...also they are very abusively charging 20 euros for late check in...it's basically a scam...with very terrible energy...and of course they even refused to give me a refund for the night I laid and couldn't sleep there...the worst!!!

location and social area were really good. the bathroom was clean and there was staff cleaning it throughout the day. staff was helpful and kind

nice to sleep on beds rather then bunks , modern bathroom, no charge for towels , nice vibe in communal area

the bathroom was modern but there’s no ventilation, the office is only open for short hours and charge for late check in, the staff are just there to do there job it feels and not really that helpful. no bunks but there no privacy at all the beds are all just open turns out bunk actually provides some privacy if little

Second stay here: All perfect!

The staff! It was my second time at this place and they even remembered my name :) Ada and David from reception desk and Jose and Natalia from cleaning team.... all are incredible! The central location is perfect. The aircon in room works perfectly

Don't go if you want to check-in in the night

I was left homeless that night. As I arrived late around midnight, they did not have anyone to let me in, although I said I was okay for the late check-in cost (which is more than the stay per night itself). If you are not arriving in Valencia during the day, don't go there.

Disappointingly lonely for a solo traveller

Was clean and comfortable

Not a social hostel at all! Was hoping there was a place to chat with others but the kitchen was the only area and not orientated for connecting with other people. Needs more of a space with couches or bean bags where people can meet and play games together or whatever. That is usually the best part about a hostel

Nice hostel overall with nice dormitories.

Very nice hostel, nice beds very confortable, facilities were very nice. The only problem was maybe that it's very hot and humid in the bathroom area but it was not that bothering. Not that far from city center and station. Overall, great experience.

Decoration and architecture

The rudeness of the employees (man and housekeeper) also their English is weak and ask for 50 EUR deposit amd if your checkout late , they will take it. One of them didn’t let me put my luggage in the reception and when i tell him that i will leave my review, he threat me to leave a bad review for me! lol

They have great potential, could use with some improvement

The staff was very sweet to me. I like the fact you have codes to enter the room, rather than keys. I also liked the fact the the bed were not bunk bed, but normal ones and in spite of what I read in other comments, I for one didn’t have any problems with the beds. The location is great, really, you can go everywhere from there.

The toilets get very warm because of the showers, it’s impossible to stay there very long, although I think they have a machine to prevent that from getting even worse. The toilets could also use some more privacy, toilets and showers are all together, which is not my style! I also didn’t like the fact that my room didn’t have a main light, we would only use side lights, what meant it would be quite dark at night and I struggled to organize my stuff because of the poor lighting of the room. Also, my room was split into two parts, the first one was always fresh, but the second one would get a little bit warm as the AC wouldn’t do the job.

Horrible - Avoid it and Beware of the Late Checkin Charge!

An absolutely abysmal time here. There's a late check-in charge (after 7pm!) of €20 on a bed that costs €26! It's a scammy tactic to make you pay almost double! The receptionist is extremely unaccommodating and unfriendly. The hostel has 2 shower areas and 2 bathrooms for Men for the entire hostel, and the shower areas are not really covered and offer no privacy. Almost feels like it's a gym shower. There's no traveler atmosphere and it seems like this is the last resort for people staying in Valencia. I'm surprised this property is even allowed to be listed. Awful experience!

I really want to like this hostel. It has pros and cons.

I really want to like this hostel! Here are the good points. Location. Staff are friendly. Very clean. Single instead of bunk beds. Good hot shower. Big kitchen and communal area.

My bed was next to a pipe outside the window which dripped 24/7. Like no joke. Either avoid Room 7 or bring heavy duty earplugs. The room had no overhead light... i.e. you were in the dark except for tiny small lights next to each bunk. Weird and had to open the door to get more light. Pillow was absolutely uncomfortable and lumpy (like my neck rolled up a hill to turn over). Worst I've had at any hostel (and I've been to dozens). Bed not great either- better than pillow. Weird offerings e.g. we have a coffee machine but you have to go buy your own pods.

Quite comfortable beds that are not bunk beds. Pretty nice common space where you could read a book or work. Really close to most important landmarks of Valencia.

You need to be aware that the reception is not working 24/7. For checkin outside of working hours they charge you more. Also, it may be problematic if you'd like to leave your luggage outside of working hours.

The poshest hostel I ever stayed in 10 countries on 3 continents!

Tried to booked for Xmas, not available so I came in after NYE and did not disapointed me, actually exceeded my expectations. I was a bit reluctrant about beds without curtain, yet the quality of the guest made not to be a problem. Good matrass, clean and quiet rooms, A/C (useful ocassionally as winter imight be a bit cold at night since no central heating). Impresssed by the kitchen and living comon area! Indeead a spirit of arts. Cleaning leady is a joy to watch doing her job with autentic alegria. The peruvian reception manager pay attention to every detail and solve things proactively before even being prompted. Location is excelent close to Ayuntamento Plaza, North Rail Station, around the small streets with restaurants (recomend El Porteno for meet and La Vita e Bella for pizza). Yet the kitchen is great, well equiped, I cook one night beef a la plancha (see picture, you may find Wag Yu meet in small cuts such as 100 gr at El Corte!). Nespresso coffee machines ( you need your own capsules). Very good wi-fi.

Maybe showers need better exhausting system as at times steam can go into the lavatory area - perhaps is the cost of having the showers in a modern, contemporary design.

A comfortable and fully equiped hostel in the center of Valencia.

Booked a single room for myself and it was comfortable. It's got its own writing desk, own sink and wardrobe and side table and dress drawers. Aside from the the room's main door, my room also opens to the terrace so that's a nice addition and the terrace has a curfew of 9pm so you wouldn't really be disturbed. The kitchen is fully equiped and has got an ample space and also a spacious dining table. It's the best hostel I've stayed in in Valencia.

The bathroom only has a curtain instead of an actual door. It was spacious enough though.

Easy for one night but not more

The Hostel is located in the center of Valencia, it was great to walk around, go to nice restaurants or take a bus to the beach. The location was really perfect

- breakfast is only a jar of corn flakes :D that was a bit suprising, as the titel of the accomotation is Bed & Breakfast. It was okay, but I expected more. There are a lot of restaurants and cafés around - room 7 has no window - sorry to say but when you put 5 people in it, this is an absolut no go, it was very sticky even it has an air conditioner - they thold me there are parking slots in front of the hostel - this was not the case. But I found an underground parking - The locker lock is broken, but it was not a big deal as it was quite secure, but for really important valuables it would be nice if the lockers were lockable - hand dryer is broken and it has no other option. this is a small thing but would be easy to put something suitable in it

Best hostel experience so far

This was my first time staying in hostel’s dormitory room and oh boy did it set high standards for hostels to follow. The place was modern with all the amenities one might need, it was very clean and it was possible to have a good night’s sleep in quite comfy single beds. Staff was nice, check in and check out easy. Honestly this was best hostel experience.

I loved my stay in here and the only thing i can think of that I didn’t like was that the exact room that i stayed in has its only window to the “inside of building hole” not to actual outside or yard, so it was quite dark in the morning and a bit harder to wake up, other than that, everything else was perfect. 👌

Comfy beds in great location, but that's it

The location is excellent - right in the heart of Valencia, but not on a very noisy street. The beds were very comfortable and the shared kitchen well equipped.

The common areas could use a bit more maintenance - one of the (two) men's toilets didn't lock and there was some old food in the shared fridges that, according to the rules, should have been thrown away a long time ago. The shared bathroom facilities got overcrowded in the mornings. The staff seemed quite tense and the check in/out times are rather rigid.

Great hostel in a super central location!

The staff was super nice and helpful, they speak good English. The kitchen is really well equipped and the rooms come with large lockers and an AC. The wifi is good and the towels are free

There should be more hooks to hang things everywhere (toilet cabins - none, bedrooms- none, showers - 1) The key was quite stuck in the locker - might be good to oil them.
