Dammuso Lauretta

Our stay at Dammuso Lauretta in Ortigia was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The apartment is beautiful, full of character, and was impeccably clean when we arrived. It was clear immediately how much care and attention goes into preparing the space for guests. What made the stay especially memorable, though, was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. Carmela was warm, thoughtful, attentive, and always available whenever we had a question. Every little detail had been considered, and there were so many thoughtful touches throughout the apartment that made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. We especially appreciated the lovely welcome touches waiting for us when we arrived, including champagne and water in the fridge and a plate of delicious cookies. The apartment was also stocked with useful toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and shower caps, which were extremely handy after our long journey. These thoughtful details made the apartment feel especially welcoming and showed just how much care had gone into anticipating guests’ needs. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly simple and well organized. Before we even arrived, Carmela sent us a detailed video showing us around the apartment and explaining exactly where to find everything we might need. This was especially appreciated because we arrived extremely late after a very long and difficult journey. When it was time to leave, she also sent us a video showing exactly how to lock everything up and complete the check-out. These small but very thoughtful details made the entire experience effortless and stress-free. During our stay, we noticed a small issue with the air-conditioning unit dripping. We let Carmela know, and she responded immediately. Even though it was a Sunday, she and her husband came to check the problem and made sure it was taken care of. Her attentiveness and genuine concern for our comfort were exceptional.

They also told a bit about the neighbourhood and gave a map with points of interests and recommended restaurants etc around Ortigia. +Apartment is very clean and spacious. Big fridge with some complimentary water, ice tea, juice and fruits. +Location is just perfect. Easily walkable distance from anytjing in Ortigia.

Globalement tout: taille,confort, équipements très complets, situation idéale jonction de ville nouvelle et Ortigia. Petites attentions, café, gâteaux amandes.....

We really loved our stay in Ortigia! The accommodation is in an excellent location—just steps away from everything, on a beautiful, charming street. The place itself is very spacious, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-equipped. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches: coffee pods, water, and snacks were waiting for us on arrival. The host was incredibly kind and even helped us find a parking spot, which made everything so easy. The accommodation blends classic Ortigian style with stylish modern touches—it felt both authentic and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
