The location of the apartment was very convenient and close to the bridge leading to the mainland. The hosts were very helpful with our arrival, and good communicators. There was a sharp knife ( which many apartments lack) and other kitchen utensils which made it possible to prepare meals there. Highly recommend.

Our stay started with Claudia meeting us at the train station, drove us to her apartment where she explained the ins/outs. The apartment was very clean and well equipped, great location close to shops, restaurants and the market. The owners responded very quickly to our requests reached out with recommendations of restaurants. We highly recommend this property when visiting Ortigia.

Overall, a nice apt for a couple or with a small family. The owners were very nice and available to answer all our questions and solve all our issues. The activity on the street is as you would expect in the heart of an old European city.
All the amenities worked. But, as Americans visiting a foreign land, and not knowing all the quirks and functionality of an Italian home, we wish we had more info up front. That is, which buttons and switches do what.
Our only real complaint is the bed mattress was somewhat hard. It felt like springs or stones else up in various spots.
