Il Vinile Apartment

We stayed for several days at this apartment and really loved it! The owner was very gracious and so helpful, always quick responses. The location in Ortigia was brilliant. Small mostly pedestrian street- quiet yet cozy. Street very clean, super well lit at night, apartment very secure. Ground floor unit in the historical center, so as usual somewhat dark without a lot of interior light, but good lighting inside, very cute decorations! Kitchen very comfortable, well appointed for what you may need. Bedrooms were a nice size with wardrobes and good bedside lamps. Apartment very clean, all linens also very clean, if not that new. I would absolutely stay here again!!

Not really anything to complain! Did miss more natural light or small outdoor space, but again, the spot on location, on a quiet street, ground floor in the historic area is typical.

The location was great, it could hardly be better, it's in the heart of the historic area and that is exactly what I was looking for.

This is not really what I didn't like about this particular property but it should be a "warning" to all who travel to historical centers in Italy; do not expect to drive right up to the property, most if not all of this areas are not accessible to non residents with their rented cars. you will either walk with your luggage or need a taxi and even that, it's not like they can always get you right to the property because cars will simply not fit in those romantic, quaint historic streets. Plan and plan well, and then be sure that you are in the right shape for such a trip.

Perfect location, authentic apartment with very good equipment, very helpful host, easy check-in/check-out. We had very early flight and asked host about earlier check-in and got it without extra money, thanks a lot! There are locals opposite, we could see real Sicilian life style, sometimes it was noisy, but only at daytime. Everything was perfect!

Very clean, and centrally located.

Wifi didn't work for the majority of the time, and the location was occasionally quite loud.
