Unbeatable views. Large well equipped spacious family house.

The house had stunning views. The rooms were large and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The hosts were extremely accommodating. We had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Would happily return to this property.

Would have liked a small welcome hamper with a few basics, ( milk, bread etc as the location is very remote) also a small thing, there were many knives, but a sharp knife would have been a great addition to the kitchen.

Fabulous.

Views are absolutely breathtaking. Kitchen is very well equipped. Rooms were very comfortable. Wonderful wonderful stay.

Road to get to this part of Waternish is a bit thin and bumpy but most definitely worth it. You have to use passing places like a lot of Skye.

A place not to be missed.

It is a wonderful experience where one can relax,wind down surrounded by stunning scenery, and the true ambience only Scotland can offer from warm summer days to windy rainy days.Each with its own beauty. The house was large with every imaginative convenience. Resturants close by relatively for this part of the world, likewise shops and service stations.

Anniversary Trip

With our Greek island trip cancelled we needed an alternative wedding anniversary location. We weren't disappointed. The photos on booking.com showed a picturesque house right on the beach with privacy in a modern, comfortable house. Exactly as advertised! Kitchen has everything you need, all facilities were great and internet was strong enough to stream Netflix ( highly recommend bringing a laptop to HDMI into the telly, standard channels only on the Freeview) . If you forget to shop then Portree is a good 25 minute drive to the East but has a large co-op but Dunvegan (15 mins South) has plenty of small shops and a pubs and restaurants. If you want to get away from the current madness and watch birds dive into the sea from the comfort of your own balcony then 100% this is for you.

En el lado positivo, las vistas son simplemente increíbles, un verdadero punto destacado. La calefacción ya estaba encendida a nuestra llegada, algo que agradecimos profundamente tras llegar con mucho frío. El lugar estaba muy bien equipado: había pastillas más que suficientes para lavar la ropa y los platos, además de shampoo, acondicionador y gel de ducha, lo que añade un toque de comodidad. También tiene una buena conexión al wifi, lo cual fue útil durante nuestra estancia.

En el lado negativo, el alojamiento necesita algo de mantenimiento. Aunque se nota que es un lugar con mucho encanto, los pisos, especialmente en la planta superior, están bastante desgastados, y la decoración podría beneficiarse de una actualización para modernizar un poco el ambiente. Otro detalle fue el tamaño de las televisiones en las habitaciones: eran tan pequeñas que casi podrían pasar por monitores de PC, y a la distancia desde la cama resultan inútiles, siendo mejor no tener nada. Además, la atención al cliente nos pareció deficiente. Aunque al parecer hay un sistema de mensajería, este da la impresión de ser atendido por un chatbot o con respuestas muy automáticas. La primera noche tuvimos un problema con uno de los WC, que se resolvió solo, pero nunca recibimos una respuesta útil a nuestro mensaje. Finalmente, aunque no es culpa directa del alojamiento, una noche vimos a alguien rondando la casa con una linterna durante bastante tiempo. Esto nos asustó un poco por la sensación de aislamiento del lugar, aunque asumimos que sería un vigilante o algo similar.
