The Treehouse by Airlie

Loved the property, and the host was very welcoming and helpful. The garden room was a delight and was easily the highlight for us. Property was very clean and everything worked well. Little touches like bread, butter, milk, jam, wine, beer were all well received. Location was great: we were able to walk into the center of Nairn and down to the beach. We really enjoyed the 112 wine bar - food was way better than we were expecting.

We were there in warm dry weather, not sure how useable the garden room would be in cold wet weather. Either we are planning to come back with the kids next time if we can.

This place was great. It has so many features that made our stay comfortable. The host, Mano, left us a few treats to welcome us. There is a covered garden where you can lounge or eat, what a nice feature! The beds were comfortable, the rooms each had their own heater so it was always warm inside despite the rainy weather outside. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking utensils and appliances. The Treehouse is a short walk away from cute shops and the beach for dolphin viewing. Mano answered our questions ans was available quickly and helped us when we needed a repair done on a suitcase. It’s clear he wants his guests to enjoy their stay.

The dryer takes a long time to dry the cloths but it was fine because we could hang the clothes in the back covered garden.

thoughtful touches such as milk, bread, wine and beer were very much appreciated. Communication with host excellent - ideal for us for a couple of nights visiting family but allowing us to have our own space.

Location excellent for the transport

It was a little cold and felt damp.
