Central location in quiet street and close to shops and facilities. Very pleasant walk to beautiful beach. Nairn has a lot to offer and we visit frequently. Host provided details of entry promptly and this all worked well. Instructions for recycling etc clear. Spacious electric shower and hot water. Managed to park outside property on all but one occasion when we parked in side street so this was very helpful. Bed comfortable. The host also kindly provided a loaf, tea, coffee, milk on arrival, wine, beer, biscuits etc which was a lovely touch.
Despite our best efforts with opening windows, minimising time in the shower and switching on extractor fans, the property was very damp- books and magazines curled up etc. Very, very small property for family of 5- we knew this of course but expected to be able to use the garden room more comfortably. It was very cold in the evening though and increasingly damp. Cooking facilities are good but spread over the small kitchen area and garden room. Not quite enough of everything in terms of plates and knives for five but we managed. Too small for us to sit inside for breakfast/meals together so we were glad of our hot water bottles to enable us to sit in garden room. We had to give up on playing the board games provided because of the damp/wet and the TV was tricky for all to see due to the necessary placement of the sofa etc. I imagine this is a lovely property for a smaller number of guests and in the summer. Learning for us!

The house was perfect. Everything we needed was there. The greenhouse/relax area at the back is so lovely. There were bread, drinks and chocolate when we arrived, which was really nice. We loved our stay there and wanted to stay longer.

Good communication from host. The fresh bread, milk, drinks and snacks were a very nice touch. The indoor garden was amazing to sit in when the rain was poring down.
We would stay again.

The Tree House is ideally located with an easy walk to the train station, town centre, nearby walking trails, and the spectacular beach. The compact but very functional kitchen contains a small cooktop, microwave, large toaster oven, and combined washer/dryer. The large enclosed patio has a BBQ and pizza oven as well. The patio is exclusively for guest use and is an inviting space to relax and enjoy the mature plants surrounding it. It also had a retractable clothesline, which is a thoughtful touch. Everything we needed was provided along with plenty of tea, sugar, a jug of fresh milk, fresh fruit, a variety of treats, plus wine, pop, and beer. All much appreciated and unexpected! To top it all off there was also a (delicious!) freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us when we arrived.

Location was perfect for our needs. The host had left us wine, freshly baked bread, shortbread, butter, milk, jams...the list goes on and it was very welcomed. I would highly recommend this lovely cosy little cottage! It was very comfortable and private just wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you to our host.
everything ticked our box!

Wonderful getaway in Nairn. The property and outdoor space was perfect for us, our dogs loved chilling out in the decking conservatory area, and it was so lovely to eat breakfast and lunch in there.
The little extras left by the host (fresh bread, wine, biscuits, jam, butter, milk etc) were a lovely surprise and much appreciated!

Perfect location - quiet, close to shops and not far from the beaches.
Beautifully presented from the outside, The Treehouse is an unusual property with real charm. We loved the cosiness of the living area with the ‘tree’ in the middle. We all slept well and loved the bathroom which has a great-sized shower. The best part was the indoor garden, we spent lots of time in here relaxing - a great place to enjoy a continental breakfast, read a book or have a glass of something cold in all weathers!
Mano was a superb host. There were a few items in the fridge and cupboards which was so welcoming after a long journey and we were even treated to homemade bread which was delicious!

TBH not much...the fresh baked bread and goodies were appreciated, these don't however make up for my disappointment in other areas
Lumpy pillows, so cold in bedroom and duvets very light we had to take duvet from 2nd bedroom, no dishwasher, oven was practically useless, sunroom/outside room was horrible with damp furniture and slugs!
Cobwebs in bedroom
Dead insects in bedroom light
Busy,busy noisy road
Loose tile/trip hazard in hallway

The house is beautiful. Mano is an amazing host and so kind and Thai you can find in any detail of the house. When we arrived there was bread Greg baked for us and everything we could need for our staying. We wish we had more time to stay there.

Well located property with quirky but usable covered garden space which afforded family an area to relax in spite of the weather !

Comfortable beds, sofa, and lovely sunroom/fruit tree area attached and the roses will be in bloom for the next visitors. The kitchen is very compact and contains all that is needed. Very close to Culloden site. Nairn is a lovely little town. We didn't meet the owners but communication was prompt. Much appreciated little extras.
The headroom could be inconvenient for someone who is 6'2...having to duck down the corridor.

The indoor garden was beautiful and so many quirky features to the treehouse - our girls loved the triple bunk beds and playing battleships. Mano was a fantastic host, very welcoming baked fresh bread on arrival, wine, tea, coffee, chocolate for the children and fresh cucumbers tomatoes from home grown plants. lovely to sit out in the garden on an evening. perfect location, walk into town/beach, would definitely return and stay for longer

What a hidden treasure! The Treehouse is with its unassuming street location was a perfect oasis for our short stay. Meticulous attention to detail had every switch and important storage location discreetly labelled removing confusion when using the kitchen or operating the hot water service (for example). The property felt like a delightful hybrid of serviced apartment and 4* hotel with basic amenities offered such as tea, coffee, milk and jam - the owner even baked us a loaf of fresh bread (still warm on our arrival)!! The rear garden patio was a fantastic additional space and the outdoor kitchen/bbq installed makes for a fantastic entertainment location or place to unwind after a day of sightseeing!
Low ceilings in some parts of the apartment may be an issue for taller guests.
