The location was great looking out over clew bay..we stayed in the lodge.. decor was warm and so tasteful, spotlessly clean.. the staff were helpful and so friendly… the food was impeccable.. dinner and breakfast was 10/10 a lovey traditional bar for a few (or many) before bed..

Location was perfect for the route I was travelling. People, food, room and facilities = fabulous. Road, bar and lounge noise was negligible.
Unfortunately I was in room 101 directly above the bar entrance and every single time some entered and exited the door banged - it was like someone dropping 100kg dumbbell - it was loud and vibrated through the room.
