The location was beautiful and peaceful, just what we needed after a busy time in Hanoi. It was about a 10-minute walk into the main town, which was perfect for us, but some of the roads were very dark, if that worries you. We just got our phones out to use the torch. Did not feel worried at all. Breakfast was very basic, fruit, toast, jam and a lady would cook you scrambled egg, fried egg or omelette, but it was enough for us. Poll was lovely. We did not hire a bike.
We had no hot water, but a switch needed to be turned on by the hotel staff so easily rectified. Bathroom could do with a little update.

Fantastic location - just close enough to easily walk into town but far enough away to be peaceful - with beautiful pool and a large room. Excellent value.
Plumbing needed some maintenance.

The family who run the hotel are so lovely and helpful. Great location and very peaceful rooms overlooking the water.
A small thing but the bed covers were sheets rather blankets and I got a little cold.

Great location, was very easy to hire bikes here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating during our stay and helped out when needed.
Facilities were very basic in the rooms & breakfast was also quite basic. There were also some minor issues with the laundry service, some of the clothes has some stains afterwards.
