Good sized clean rooms in a well run homestay. The view is spectacular. It is close to interesting activities. The country roads are beautiful to bicycle on.
The neighborhood has very poor choices of places to eat from a western standard. The breakfast at the homestay is too basic (we were served instant Ramen noodles stir-fried with some greens; also a banana) . This is a lovely place to stay for a few days but then we wanted better meals.
The stairway is wonky...step height varies and the steps themselves aren't level. It's an exercise in coordination to go up and down the stairs.
