The location is nice, the appartement is cozy, the balcony is very nice and overlooks the sea. A lot of appliances in the appartement. We really recommend visiting Cefalu and staying at porta terra!

Very good location. Everything needed in apartment. Good communication with host.
Bed was bit uncomfortable and limited eating area. Stairs very steep but did know that before booking.

This is a charming, small apartment in the historic district, very conveniently located a block away from the Garibaldi Piazza, and main tourist district. It’s spotlessly clean, and very well appointed with everything one might need for a week or a month, including a complete kitchen and a clothes washer and strong wifi. The A/C is new and cold. The host is excellent, professional, and communicates frequently.
The one warning I would offer is the access: the long stair-climb to the apartment is not just steep, but would more more accurately be described as ‘precipitous’. As such, I can only recommend the apartment for sober folks with good physical co-ordination and mobility.

old fashioned small No kettle and only a tiny or enormous saucepan available to boil water for coffee extremely steep stairs- needed help to get suitcases up the stairs. Unfortunately the owner was stuck in traffic and arrived too late when we left. Fortunately some locals helped us. Otherwise we would have missed the train
