Matteotti 16 - Suites in Cefalù

Very good location. Beach just a short 10 min walk away, even though walk back is quite steap up the hill. Next street has many nice restaurants. Appartment in on top floor (quite long steap strairs) had comfortable with big bed and kithcen was well all nessecary equipment. Washing machine helpped us a lot.

Some minor things to improve: Missing dishwasher, but no problem unless you plan to cook a lot. Vacuum cleaner would be nice to have. We tried our best not to bring sand to appartment, but floor still felt sandy. Shower water pressure was weak - but i suppose thats due to being so high up. We had isseus with wifi and i was solved only by evening of second day. Check out was quite prompt, 10:05 the was a knock on the door. But that seems to be common practice in Italy

It was nice, very home-feeling, has everything you may need around. Location is great.

Perfect location.. although all the pictures show a view of the ocean, our room was faced to the street. Not that it was a bad thing just a different expectation. We have a kid as well and the location was not bad for a couples with one kid or more with a sofa that functions as a bed as well. The room is located very close to a very nice playground and only a five minute walk to the beach. There’s plenty of restaurants and cafés around so you can get something to eat in the morning and eat something close to home in the afternoon. The balcony facing the street was also a very big plus.

The apartment has a small balcony that fits two chairs perfect for sitting at night when the kids are asleep, but the chairs were kind of uncomfortable if you sit too long. So the chairs are uncomfortable, but the sitting outside is nice.

The bed was very comfy and the air con worked great - a very welcome relief from the heat outside. The location couldn't be better - a 10 minute walk from the station and close to lots of restaurants and places to eat. The gelato place a few doors up was great.

Check in was done through an app that automatically unlocks the building door and apartment door. It took a while to figure out how to get it to work, and at one point we got temporarily locked out and had to wait on the street for someone to arrive with keys. Cleanliness could be improved. The shower was quite weak so it was hard to feel properly clean. The floors were quite dirty - walking around barefoot meant you got lots of bits stuck on your feet. And a couple of days in, the bathroom started to emit a really unpleasant fishy smell - I think it was set off by flushing the toilet, so perhaps an issue with the plumbing or something.
