St Hildas Rest

We loved the house, spacious and enough rooms for us all. Beautiful kitchen, dining & lounge. The twin bedroom could do with a mirror. We were disappointed that we had to walk up an alley way in front of other guests to use the hot tub and that it wasn’t directly on the house, this wasn’t totally clear on the info. Also the property lacks some private outdoor space ( even just a small space to sit out and have a cuppa in the morning) we understand these are not small things to change and other people may be ok with it but that’s what we thought. We can see the place is developing and it’s in a lovely area too.

The location and the facilities

Nothing

Beautiful location, quiet area, easy access to surrounding walks and bays, we walked to Staithes in 25 minutes along the cliff tops- fabulous.

Nothing to report, the place is excellent.

The cottage is located on a bigger complex of caravans and hotel rooms, but it felt private. The village of Hinderwell is small and beautiful, with easy access to all of the lovely towns and villages along the coast. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and the cottage comfortably fit our family of 10, plus our dog, which we loved!

Nothing, we loved it
