South Coast Haven Apartments

The property was clean and well presented. The owner was lovely and great at sorting little issues quickly. Bed was comfortable. Very quiet . Very spacious.

Parking is an issue .Be careful where you park or you may meet an unpleasant neighbour. Shower would benefit from a mat to stand on and some grab rails to get in and out. A more modern television with apps would be good if you like your Netflix and prime.

Location is wonderful. Clifftop coastal walk on your doorstep. Lovely Coffee shop around the corner, shops and food places nearby. Had an issue with not having any hot water. Was solved by Rob within half an hour, that was great! Good shower.

Lots of basics missing. No bathmat, no tea towel, no milk, tea or coffee. Kinda things I'd automatically expect at a holiday rental. Not much living space either. It's a 2 bed place, but if there were 2 couples staying here, there'd be nowhere to sit. Is has only one, two seater sofa. And just the one chair outside, the table out there is broken too, needs replacing.

Location and size. Really handy for buses to Brighton and Eastbourne and fabulous sea views at the end of the road. Allocated parking space was great.

Nothing bad

Easy to find. The location was ok and close to shops and a few nice eating establishments. The people of the area were all very pleasant and nice to chat with.

The beds were both old and need to be replaced. The rusted outdoor chairs were dangerous and should have been replaced and outdoor setting non-existent. The lounges were very uncomfortable and not fit for use. The outdoor chairs inside were only just fair. These issues were highlighted in 2023, so no effort has gone into making good. The inside furniture was limited and quite frankly not up to expectations. I apologise for complaining, but this apartment is certainly not worth the money paid and the rating should be looked at. I am not happy with the rating from this platform. On a positive note, with some new furniture and care, this could be a satisfactory stay.
