Hatago Nagomi

Exceptionally friendly and efficient personnel. Clean and functional facilities. I enjoyed using the hot springs (on the premises) every night, and my skin feels great afterwards. The Japanese toilet with heated seat and multi-functional water sprays was great (even though it was expected). Half board was included into our room price. Every night we had 5-course dinner cooked with local farms’ produce (except for the fish from the ocean).

Tiny things, like only one suitcase stand in the room. There was a sofa bed that we didn’t need, and used it as a luggage stand.

Family run. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful . The managers son went out of his way to personally transport our bags. The level of service was so credible

The small Lake Chuzenji town is passed its glory days - though it was beautiful around the historical village area, and had it not been foggy, I’m sure a boat trip would have been lovely too. The property is in a part of town that feels a little sad on off peak season

The staff were excellent and the hotel was in a great location for day trips in the National Park.

THE VIEW, the room view was my favorite part, totally worth it!! The kaseki dinner and breakfast were great, many options, many dishes. I enjoyed the hotsprings also. I went with a friend and we had a great time, also used the yukatas for free. The staff were all super kind! They have washing machines.

We could see that the building is a bit old and it can be tricky to go up the stairs, sinde there is no elevator, but they mention that so we already knew that.
