Luxury Apartment On Grand Canal by Wonderful Italy

Location was amazing close to the entrance so you didn’t have to drag your bags through the city overlooking the water unit was clean and tidy

Manager don’t allow to check in or drop luggage earlier and also late check out for just 1 hour even we rent for 2 night . The cleaner already waiting at door to chase us out.

Wonderful apartment! Both bedrooms have a spectacular view to Grand Canal. As I travelled with friends - two full bathrooms and the spacious living room with a large balcony was a big plus. In general - apartment is very airy - high ceilings, big rooms, good layout. Great location - especially if you have an early morning flight as we did, it takes 5min by foot till the central train station.

We loved mostly everything. Some things to improve - pillows are very flat and hard, the bedrooms could use some bedside lamps and would be great to have some coffee capsules for the coffee machine. Other than that - everything was great!

I stayed in this apartment with my family, including a 2-year-old child. The biggest advantage of this apartment is definitely its location — it’s very close to the railway station and bus connections, and within walking distance to most attractions. The view over the Grand Canal is beautiful and feels very romantic. However, it’s important to note that the canal is also quite busy, especially on weekends, so it can get noisy with boats and parties passing by. Whether that’s a downside really depends on your preferences. The main issue with this apartment is the management and overall service quality. We experienced multiple problems, and most of them were only resolved after escalating the case to Booking.com support. Specifically: * We received incorrect check-in instructions, which resulted in us walking 15 minutes to the wrong location and then back again with a stroller and a small child. * The lift was not working for the first two days. * A baby cot (which we had requested, confirmed, and paid for) was not provided until the third day, after escalation. * Wi-Fi did not work for the first two days. * The washing machine is not inside the apartment, but in a shared common area (this was not clearly communicated). Additionally, the apartment is very minimally equipped — there are no basic items like salt, pepper, olive oil, or washing capsules. Since we stayed for a week, we had to buy everything ourselves. We left some items behind in the hope that future guests might have a more comfortable start. In terms of condition, the apartment looks nice but is more worn than shown in the photos. The walls need repainting, some furniture requires fixing, and the overall cleanliness could be improved — the floor was dusty when we arrived. Overall: great location and nice views, but poor management and lack of basic service.
