Simon was an excellent host. He met us late in the evening and gave us lots of excellent advice about how to explore Venice. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. The location was very close to vaperetto stations, I think lines 1 and 5.1 5.2. The apartment was warm but there were 2 strong, remote controlled fans which were enough to keep is cool. The co-op was just 3-4 minutes walk and a very nice square with restaurants and traditional dancing on our evening.

Simone was great and gave us lots of advice, maps, suggestions, etc. Property was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. Close to train station.
The only thing that could be improved would be if it had AC, but it had fans and windows that could be left open securely so it wasn’t a big deal.

Functional, sizeable, well equipped apartment in a great location, short walk from main train station and to a vaporetto stop. Our host Simone was very helpful, taking the time to meet us, show us around the apartment and provide thoughtful and useful advice for our time in Venice.

Simone met us at the door and sat with us for a long time giving us insight into the local area and answering all our questions. Couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Venice. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable, and an excellent location as a base for our stay.
There was nothing to not like.
