Introducing the very special Ca’ Del Monastero – a fine antique residence comprising nine superbly restored apartments of varying sizes (including Ca’ Del Monastero 2 – see its dedicated section below), situated within what was once the monastery connected to the ancient Church of San Zan Degolà, one of Venice’s oldest churches, just moments from the Grand Canal in the charming district of Santa Croce.
Enjoying an atmosphere of calm serenity in what must surely be one of Venice’s most evocative and unspoilt neighbourhoods – indeed a step back in time – the Ca’ Del Monastero apartments offer spacious and beautifully presented accommodation for small and medium-sized parties, or up to 38 guests when several apartments are reserved together.*

Ca’ Del Monastero 2
Elegant, bright and wonderfully spacious, Ca’ Del Monastero 2 is a refined two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment overlooking the historic buildings of the Natural History Museum at the Fondaco dei Turchi, offering stylish accommodation for up to four guests in one of Venice’s most authentic residential quarters.
Situated on the first floor of the residence and easily reached by lift or stairs, the apartment combines generous proportions with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Rich red marble flooring, lofty ceilings and large windows create an immediate sense of space and light throughout.
At the heart of the apartment lies a beautifully presented open-plan living and dining room. Featuring an ornamental fireplace (not in use), a comfortable lounge area and an elegant dining table seating four, it provides the perfect setting for relaxing after a day spent exploring Venice’s hidden corners and famous landmarks.
Adjacent to the living area is the fully fitted kitchen and breakfast room, thoughtfully designed with modern appliances and a cosy dining space for informal meals, morning coffee or a leisurely breakfast before heading out into the city.
The accommodation is arranged around two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom enjoys generous natural light and elegant furnishings, creating a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Its contemporary en-suite bathroom is finished to a high standard and features a large walk-in shower.
The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds and enjoys equally pleasant proportions, making it ideal for friends, children or additional family members. A second modern bathroom, also with a large shower, is conveniently located nearby.

Arrivals between midnight and 1:00 a.m. can be arranged for an additional fee of Euro 100. After this time, we reserve the right to accept arrivals only with a supplementary charge determined according to the actual arrival time.
Beds will be arranged as doubles or twins as shown in the photographs. The possibility of converting a double bed into twin beds, or vice versa, is specified in the description and must be requested at least 7 days prior to arrival.

My family and I loved everything about our stay. The apartment was very comfortable for the four of us and located close enough to everything for walking to yet far enough to be in a quiet part of Venice.
The size of the bedrooms and bathrooms was good for four adults. The large living room was comfortable for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. The kitchen is well equipped.
The communication with Views on Venice really could not have been any better. They also arranged a water taxi for our 4am trip to the airport.
This apartment was by far the best one we stayed at during our two week Italian vacation.

The spacious flat the location
The safe did not open therefore useless. By replacing the bulbs to a warm LED would change the living room into a cozier room.
If it was me who could decide….I would change the colour of the main wall in the living room to all white.

The location is quiet, but cafés, restaurants and shops just a 2 min walk away and all touristic hotspots including the Biennale Giardini within 30 min walking distance or 3 min to the Riva di Biasio Vaporetto stop. The apartment is generously equipped with tableware and cutlery.
One small drawback: the agency told us even with outside temperature at 15° Celsius or so the heating can only be turned on from 15th Oct on. So if you plan to travel shortly before, do not forget a warm pullover for a cozy stay.
