Beautiful, peaceful location. Not far from Glastonbury, Wells & we drove an hour into Bath. Has the pub next door which is handy for food/drinks if needed. Room and bathroom huge. Quirky, unique decorations that feel handpicked, comfy bed, big bath tub. Breakfast foods left in room, lots of things thought about. Ben who checked us in was very kind and said we could call him if needed.
That we had to leave😊

So peaceful and calm. Every member of staff was very friendly and the restaurant food was exceptionally good. We also loved the thoughtfully provided breakfast muesli, yoghurt and berries in our fridge. A really lovely base for a mini break.

Lovely room with balcony overlooking the river Sheppey, with a distant view of Glastonbury Tor. Breakfast was in the room which consisted of muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh orange juice, and tea / coffee. This was replenished daily. Although above a pub it was very quiet and we slept soundly. Parking was straightforward and the pub was well placed to walk and enjoy the Somerset levels. The pub food was locally sourced and excellent quality. The staff were a joy.
Nothing.

The dinner was great at the inn too! The view from our balcony was gorgeous. It was cozy and comfortable, and considering there was a NYE event on, we really weren't disturbed by the noise too much at all, very soundproof :)

Staff were really friendly and helpful, food was really good, food in the room for breakfast was fantastic
As a disabled person I would have appreciated some grab rails in the shower, a fairly minor point

Breakfast was provided in our room which was a lovely treat and was delicious. Fresh milk for our tea and coffee, orange juice, yoghurts, fresh berries and cereals. Perfect. We had a lovely evening meal - again great choice and the food was delicious
The weather, but that was our fault for going in October 😂 It didn’t spoil our visit

The room was large, thoughtfully, and lovely decorated. Very clean. Loved the telephone box closets.
Proper coffee and healthy luxury breakfast items in the fridge with fresh orange and milk.
Bed was super comfortable.
Excellent customer service and all staff very accommodating.
Was a shame we didn't get the chance to eat there, the menu was mouth watering and food looked & smelt delicious.

The room was a very good size and very comfortable. The balcony was nice and had a good view. Breakfast was incredibly generous and perfect for a light start to the day. Checking in and out was quick and easy, and despite being a pub, it wasn’t excessively noisy and we weren’t disturbed by anything.
Location was also good and a good distance to a range of towns and restaurants.
The lighting in the room was a bit dark. It made it feel nice and cozy, but it also needed a bright light to make it easy to see things when needed.
The bathroom was spacious, but it needed a bit more room to hang towels, and a towel hook by the shower would be useful.

Friendly staff, quiet room, peaceful location, good tea selection, great mug size fir a good cuppa, fresh fruit and breakfast with plant milk.
A feather or softer pillow, main entrance door appeared a bit weak, and reliant on others not leaving it open, just a little concerned being female by self although everything was ok. Bathroom window ledge had a few ants and cobwebs. Room was ok thoigh

We loved the quiet rural location. We loved the eclectic feel of the pub.
The room was lovely, very comfy. We had a balcony which was just beautiful.
Breakfast is in the room, it was fresh & tasty
Nothing, we loved it all.

Location. Quirky decor. Lovely staff. Breakfast items provided in fridge in room. Dinner in pub.
Limited parking. Crockery in room was chipped. Mattress sank in the middle. Cobwebs in room. Hairs in shower. No housekeeping over the 2 day stay apart from replenishing breakfast items. One window did not open. The door leading to the balcony was hard to open. Thankfully there was a fan in the room. The external cladding on the room needs some attention. The balcony was directly above part of the external seating area of the pub which was just a bit too close for me.

Lovely big room with pleasant modern ascetics over looking a beautiful fields and a small river.
We stayed in room 3 that had a by-folding door that open onto a balcony. Which I was glad of, mainly because it was quite hot.
We enjoyed the breakfast that was left in the fridge comprising of creamy yogurt, mini Dorset muesli, bowl of mixed berries, with a pint of milk, orange juice. Two bottles of spring water & range of teas & coffee bags.
Only wished the pillows were not so solid, it wouldn’t put me off staying again, but I would bring my own next time.

The room overall was very comfortable. We liked the comfy bed and the free standing bath. The room is very unique and tastefully decorated. Having the fridge with fresh fruit, juice, milk, and cereal was really appreciated. The area was remote and peaceful, and the pub lovely which served really good food. The pub has live music which unfortunately, we didn’t get to experience. In the summer months this place seems like an excellent place to spend time while visiting the area.
The cobwebs in the room and bathroom.

Such a lovely cozy pub to spend a little weekend away. The room was so amazing and when the sun was setting the sun shine directly into the room. Such a great atmosphere and the live music was excellent. We had the best time and would stay again in a heartbeat

It was quaint and quirky, with excellent food.
Lack of Wi-Fi downstairs at a time when we needed to be contactable by family.
Were unaware when booking that breakfast was cereal and fruit, provided the night before as it wasn’t a traditional bed and breakfast in that the kitchens weren’t open in the morning. Breakfast was fine, we were just a bit surprised.

Beautiful location in a quaint pub surrounded by corn fields. The room was very thoughtfully furnished and decorated in what I describe as Shabby chic. Amazing bath tub.

Lots of character inside bar/restaurant. Room fully equipped with mod cons, beautifully decorated. Plenty of tea/coffee, replenished daily. Friendly staff
No designated car parking for guests staying in rooms.

The rooms were lovely, you can tell effort and attention went into the decor, the art, the furniture choices all make it feel cosy and fun. The owner lending us a pack of cards made the first night a fun one. The dinner was lovely, its worth popping into the restaurant, our evening was livened up by a live band.
The lack of hot breakfast and the breakfast yoghurts not being replenished.
Check out is a bit early.
The location means you must drive or take taxis.
