Easily home away from home

Looking for peace, cleanliness, relaxation and an escape? This is truly the place for you. The communication with the owners was above any expectation. The huts have everything you need. There is a co op 9 minutes away for anything else you may need (food). Don’t fancy cooking? There’s also a fish shop/kebab house 9 minutes away. The views and the sound of the river frees your mind. Coming here is something I didn’t realise I needed to bad and knowing I can go again excites me. What an experience.

Fantastic location for a romantic off grid getaway.

Overall my stay with the Mid Wales Luxury Huts has been fantastic and a memorable one. The hosts were amazing as they were extremely helpful and friendly. We did have an incident where we had run out of gas for the BBQ, but the host were incredibly responsive and fixed the issue within 5 minutes. If you are looking for a little romantic getaway, I do believe that you would not be let down, the location of the hut was perfect as you are remote in the countryside with beautiful scenery all around, but a short drive to the nearest seaside town. The hut and hot tub was clean overall and offered a lot of privacy. Would love to stay again. Thank you again Sioned & Andy!

As I had booked through booking.com, I did not realise that the hut would be off grid, especially the huts being in a mobile signal dead zone, but this did not ruin the experience. I did learn that Mid Wales Luxury Huts, do have their own website and an extensive explanation of their huts and what each one offers, which was helpful in preparing for the trip. I did expect to bring my own firewood or to purchase them from the onsite shop and used about 7 bags for the hot tub, fireplace and fire pit for a 2 night stay. No complaints from me - would advise anyone to book the Cut Cornel hut with an open mind, maybe lots of good food, drinks and hot tubbing to past the time!

The hut was clean and warm and we had total privacy

Wonderful location nice and quiet. Lovely and comfortable and we took our dog. The hot tub was ready to use. There was a little farm shop on site.

The hut was quiet, calm, clean and had a beautiful view. The staff were really welcoming but allowed us to have our own space and freedom which was lovely. The wood fired hot tub overlooked the stream which was stunning. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay - Will definitely be returning!

We liked everything about our stay at the hut, good location, beautiful views and a very comfortable stay. Nearest town a few miles away for everything we wanted. Owners were also lovely, messaged to see if we needed anything.

Wasn't anything we could say we disliked about our stay. Only thing would be that the bathroom door doesn't close properly but that wasn't really a problem.

Nice rural location close to good walking and small vilage. Very quiet and private(not overlooked by other huts on the property. Considering the small size it had wifi shower and cooking facilities and microwave plus a gas BBQ on the decking area outside

Excellent facilities, lovely staff and a great stay.

The location and accommodation was excellent, extremely clean and well organized. The owners where extremely useful, chatty and generally extremely accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was excellent.

The only issue, and it's the only issue I had with the accommodation was the "eco-" toilet, which was hard to get use to and possibly required more frequent emptying, maybe daily? or a flushable toilet might be a better alternative.

Just come back from a 3 night stay in Cut Mawr. Beautiful location. The hut was fantastic, very well kitted out plus a complimentary bottle of fizz and treats. Very friendly owners . Cannot recommend enough will definitely be returning 👍

Superb

The hut had an amazing view of the country side surrounding the area and it was loverly and quiet dispite being near the lane which you drive down to get there. The bottle of wine and nibbles that where left for us was a nice touch and all the information leaflets left where very handy. There was plenty of wood for the hot tub which on arival was already hot for us which was really thoughtfull and the hut was surpriseingly warm thought out our hole stay. Overall we had a fabulous stay and cant wait to come back again

Things that could have improved our stay would be extra toilet roll, a small bin in the kitchen area and a corner shelf in the shower to put toiletries on however these are minor things and didnt spoil out stay in anyway.

simply perfect!

i loved the whole not being able to access your phones and just sit back and enjoy whats around you, and the views around where amazing. we sat out on the slated area and enjoyed sitting back by the fire and watching the amazing stars and beautiful surrounding area. the noises of natural made it even more amazing also

The 'off the grid' location was perfect and definitely the recharge we needed! The hot tub was excellent.

The electricity went off in the hut but Andy arrived really quickly and changed the battery for us to fix it. Really great.

WOW! What a gorgeous, lovely, amazing cabin and stay in Wales!

Absolutely everything! Everything you need from fridge, cooking utensils, shower (lovely hot water!) microwave, toaster… the list is endless! I could not recommend this place enough. We did get a free upgrade from Cut Sinc to Cur Mawr - however we would have been just as amazed and happy with Cut Sinc from what we could see of that cabin! Right from the get go everything was lovely and well thought out. Great area, plenty to do as in walks, shops etc. We had a day out activity day at zipworld which was just an hours drive. Perfect for us. It was so nice we didn’t want to come home! Quiet, peaceful and tranquil. Everything was very clean & we couldn’t have asked for better!

Amazing little secluded getaway.

The property was beautiful, situated on a little site that had a little brook nearby. The property itself was clean and tidy, with amazing decor and good facilities. The hot tub was nice, despite the weather and it was lovely to sit in surrounded by twinkling fairy lights.

The property had an amazing handbook but felt that it was lacking more “off grid living” instructions. The property was also hard to find and it is very secluded.

Luxury excellent huts

Fire pit outside balcony on the stream and fire stove hot tub was excellent went for a long walk around the mountains seen all the live stock on the hills water spring fantastic fish and chips in the town very friendly people not very good WiFi but I wanted peace and quiet from work anyway but definitely going again soon for the winter really recommend it out in the hills x

lovely and clean everything provided beautiful setting so relaxing , the dogs loved it too will be back again for sure bottle of chilled Prosecco on arrival ❤️
