L’accès par l’escalier au 2eme étage est à prendre en compte. Mais le propriétaire l’avait signalé. Donc pas de soucis pour nous.

The location was excellent. Beautiful views over the bay yet also right in the centre of town. St. Valery has lots of good restaraunts and cute independent shops. It also has a walled medeival town. The locals are friendly and helpful. St. Valery is a great base from which to see the Baie of the Somme, which is an area of natural beauty.

The apartment is in need of refurbishment. The building is extremely old. Steep wooden stairs are not very accessible. Bedrooms are dark and need new furniture. Too many beds are crammed together in bedroom 2. Walls need painting white. The toilet drips loudly. The open plan living area is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. But there are chipped tables, broken mirrors and old nick-nacks which need to be replaced. There is NO free parking nearby. In front of the property is all metered and cost us a fortune! Claiming free parking available in the advert is misleading.
